Chris did you get on ok Thurs?
Couldn't have went better bubbs :j
Surgeon wasn't certain that MRI was giving a true picture, so I was back to theatre Friday morning - no signs of any complications or further damage, and no need for invasive surgery.
I was back home Friday night, medication has been halved - I feel better already0 -

Bit of a dilemma in T's this afternoon. I was in there about 3.30pm when an SA bought out around 50 packs of bbq meats, the £4 ones that are 2 for £7 or 3 for £10. They were all reduced to 50p and there was no one else around. What would you do?
No dilemma. I grabbed 48 packs and got paid £8 to take it all away.:rotfl:
I had a similar dilemma....although i had to pay for my 180 toilet rolls...Well..It would be rude to leave them...Needless to say....You know what I have to do a lot of...:rotfl::rotfl:[STRIKE]68 [STRIKE]Mouses[/STRIKE] [/STRIKE]

In theory I do have a stockpile of the Asda coconut shower gels that were reduced to clear a couple of years ago but 20p shower gels are not to be ignored - might try our other Asda
There were others for 70p but I don't think they were the right ones, the flavours did not look correct
In our Asda there were masses of 18 pack Andrex for £7 in one section and another shelf for them which was empty - I got a random
Guy with a price gun to check for me and the barcodes were all the same.
We do seem to be getting through more loo paper so it's something I need to be more vigilant about, building our small stockpile up
No the 70p ones are not reduced, you are looking for coconut, rhubarb and custard, lime, lemon or Asda own sensitive that one has a blue cap.
I managed to get a few of the coconut ones today for 20p, I love anything coconut flavour. It's slightly different packaging to the ones that were 20p before that are long gone in our house. This time I have quite a few of the rhubarb and custard ones sounds odd but smells quite nice, have promised a few to a RL MSE friend when I see her next.
Was just an empty shelf where the SEL was for the Andrex puppies again today out of the 3 stores I went to, it was still the only one that had any sign of having them. At least I was rewarded with the coconut shower gel there.
I'm still buying Superdrug own 9 loo rolls for £2, the Andrex only work out £1 less if I buy 2 packs of Superdrugs so I would have to find a load to warrant the petrol of travelling far.
As it was I was on a road trip anyway as I was looking for a child's sleeping bag for Teeny so any bargains picked up on the way were a bonus.0 -
Hi Naebbirac
How is your leg/foot?
Hiya bubbs.
Still got the back slab on, still in pain despite painkillers. Bored silly at being stuck on the sofa. I so miss being able to get in the car and go. Worst thing is no glitchy shops. Thanks for asking.:D
DH pushed me up the pub for lunch today which broke the monotony. Hopefully if the weather stays nice I'll be able to hop out and sit in the garden this week.
No fracture clinic appointment until 12th, then I'll find out what will happen next, how long I'll be non weight bearing etc.
Hope you can get your arm/shoulder sorted out soon.
Thanks to all who find/post glitches. So nice to read what people have managed to get.
Hope all are well.

We haven't seen one of those for ages. :rotfl:

Still having a nose some of the stuff is bloomin expensive. I could do with a new waterproof jacket really, last year I used my Ts 4p poncho at the festival and it was only really showerproof.0
