On purchase of a gift card you should be told the terms and conditions of sale/purchase...They didn't.......On top of that If i were to purchase a gift card and as its name states a gift....Why should the onus be on me to tell the receiver that it is only valid for a period of time......Over 6.5 billion pounds is spent on gift cards each year....No wonder they have expiry dates....companies must make an awful lot of money on expired gift cards...

I await a response from HOF....Whatever the outcome....there should not be expiry dates on gift cards...:D
    Agreed, legalised theft!

ETA In similar circumstances, Pizza Express were happy to reinstate my balance back to my gift card.

If anybody lucky enough to have received a10% discount card, Alpro almond milk is currently on offer in Waitrose, and can also be chosen on PYO. Bought in two's, makes each carton 49p, which is cheapest I've ever seen.

Oh thank you for this SW....I'm at Waitrose next week and looking for things to add to my list. We like this on porridge:)

I think the Xmas tree has been stolen and the little white balls have also disappeared so it wouldn't surprise me if they also licked it :rotfl:
