Good morning, lovely Elite
Has anyone had their mystery bonus points added from Nectar yet?
My transactions aren't showing online, but when I phoned them last week I was told they show at their end.
Shame they're not added in time for the double-up.
Mine don't show yet but I think they said end of month so will not add until after double up x0 -
A friend once had a spider bite whilst in South America. It swelled up when she got home (hadn't noticed it before) and it DID have eggs in it when removed. The research students at the teaching hospital near her house wrote papers on it!
Horrifying, isn't it?
We housed a couple of caterpillars when DD was little, so she could observe them for a while - but that was a mistake as after a short while one had things coming out of it - turned out there's a variety of wasp which lays eggs in a living host...“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
Thanks for all the replies.I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.

We've been on one of these everytime we're abroad, in Canaries. Go along, you're not pushed to buying anything. I always view it as a trip out, a chance to see more of the country we're staying in. After the sales pitch, the coach takes you off elsewhere and stops of elsewhere . Our last one we stoppped at a wine distiller. Barrels of the stuff and you can try all of them if you wish, I wouldn't recommend it though, unless you want to be carried back to the hotel. The only thing I bought was wine, obviously, some nougat and chocolate.
The scenery was great and the trip filled what would have been a dull afternoon. Go and enjoy, there honestly is no pressure on you to buy a thing xxIs that in Tenerife? If is, watch out. My friends returned having been persuaded that a particular bed was a 'must have'. Have to say that after it was delivered, they both said that it was very comfy.
Enjoy your hols.
Morning luvlies, thanks for your replies. Not intending on making bedding purchases so should be fine
Not Tenerife, we are in Gran Canaria but I'm guesssing it's much of the same re sales pitch.
Thanks again all:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -
Hi all,
Just did a double up. In my local S's the TDT vintage champagne is reduced from £25 to £16.75. It gets good reviews online. You can get 2 bottles of vintage champagne and a bottle of normal TDT wine for £20 of Nectar vouchers0 -

But only one gift left to buy, so not bad on the present front.
I received my first card in mid-October :eek: from someone who was going away up to and including the festive season.
That sets a new record here for the earliest Xmas card ever received...
Best get with it then and get yours up :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:diluvsdiscounts wrote: »LEJC you are so thoughtful thinking of everybody :A

morning gang
feeling a bit brighter despite the "happy pills" making me quite ill .
I have been rummaging inthe back of the cupboard and found, much to my sadness a chosen by you christmas cake mix....four years ood.
Is there any point in giving it a whirl and if so is there anything I should substitute etc ...???????????.I know you are all experts at this, lol tia xxx
I would certainly use it, the only thing I might substute is the flour, but if that is sealed it should be OK. If it is a mix with self raising flour in it it might be worth replacing that as 4 years is a bit old for the baking powder in it.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I'm thinking of putting up a huge Happy November banner :rotfl:“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
I seem to recall an episode of Peppa Pig being banned in Australia because they suggested spiders were harmless - could be a problem there I guess:eek:
Oh, just had my win of a box of Tyrrells 3 bird roast crisps turn up, OH seems to be eating them already :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
