I would go and show them the voucher that had come in the post and ask for them to take off the 10%. Of course, at the same time I would first look for another one of the baby monitors, have that in my basket so I could just return it if they refuse and go and buy the other one :p

I have asked them to retrospectively apply a voucher in Tesco before now with no problem, surely Boots are better than that.

Thank you, I'm gonna go and ask.:) I am so annoyed with myself for making such a school girl error.:o It's good to know that Tesco let us use a voucher retrospectively. :D

Hi any ebay experts here. I recently sold an old piano for 1p 10 days ago . Had previously tried to get rid of it on fb groups, freegle etc.let down 3 times right at the last minute.
Anyway, this person has paid their 1p, but when I email them to ask when they are picking it up, they keep saying still looking for a van. Latest is they say will pick up by this Thursday as its for their sister as a birthday pressie.
Meanwhile, I have OH keep nagging me about it, saying if they don't turn up by Thursday, he is going to ask some person who specialises in taking away 2nd hand pianos, to take it away at a cost of £110
So, where do I stand if this ebayer lets me down and doesn't collect the piano. Can I put it back on sites. I have had emails from people on freegle etc, saying is piano still available and of course I cant let it go as this ebayer has paid 1p. So frustrating.
Anyway, any advise, welcome. Cant bear the thought of OH paying someone £110 to take the piano away and then that person will probably renovate it and sell it on.

You might get an answer on the Ebay thread. If the buyer has paid then technically you should probably wait for them to collect it. However, I think, but not 100% certain, that you could refund them and cancel the transaction, I think ebay give you a list of reasons for the cancellation such as item no longer available, error in llisting etc.

I would perhaps drop them another message stating item must be collected by a specific date otherwise you will refund and cancel.

They have to agree to the cancellation and can still leave feedback
