    THANK YOU SCAMPS

HAD 2 free meals in the harvester tonight. (wife and i). meal coupons scanned ok. i pushed it and asked them to scan my free drink voucher for booking on line. i was very surprised when it worked :D as it says you have to purchase a meal.
    so all i paid was £3.40 for dw's wine and a 10p tip ;)

I hope you had the most expensive. :D

I can only imagine the look on the bartenders face when you said 'keep the change' :rotfl:

I only have 12 bulmers cider and 14 meals left to use. All before the 9th!! I'm sure I'll manage. ;):D

If you have any meal vouchers left.....it is worth completing the survey they email you, as that gives you a free starter. We only have one voucher left, so DH and I will pre book table (get free drink), have completed survey (get free starter)...have one bulmers free meal voucher, so not too much to pay.

Another hiccup today brother in law tells me other brother in law has died ........ my response ...."or lovely " ...followed by "" i mean he is at peace now"" and then dug a hole deeper by saying the bairns will be happy about that then ... but meaning that it was a blessing for them as they had all had to rally around for years taking care of mum and dad ...then i just changed the topic to leaving the EU that had got to be easier

Well it will come as a surprise I turned up on time for a doctors appointment really relaxed no rushing about ...that's a first

then the receptionist tells me I am three days early ...smile turn round out the door like jack flash before all the waiting area could see who they were laughing at

So then I am going through papers to bin last night and I had an appointment with the consultant cancelled and new one made happens all the time

just as it has hit the pile I see that the appointment has moved forward not backwards from September 23 to july 5th ....
I actually got a call asking me if I was going to attend and I told them no
As I told them I had been seen to with an earlier appointment in May and my follow up was September now she asked me twice if I was sure and I said yes ...dippy
So I had to ring up and see if I could get appointment back as I had thought it was the original one that I didn't have to attend as I had been seen earlier in May luckily she found an appointment on the same day for me ....I know its not going to be good news as she said see you in September now brought forward to July ...hope she is going to ask for me to join a trial or something nice like that ...I wont hold my breath though
on a happier note schools are closed due to strike action on Tuesday so dgd gets to stay all day Tuesday and can come with Grandma to the appointment but not into the consultation room and we are going snow tubing so lots to look forward to

My mum was one for digging holes underperky, our families get used to these situations, no harm meant I'm sure :)
