I can confirm that we have now received an update as regards to this status of this claim. Unfortunately it seems that the merchant has taken the decision to decline this submission, and as such we have not received any cashback to pay over to you or add as a pending indication to your account.

The reason that we have received to support this decision states…

“Order Cancelled or returned
”.

We are sorry that we have not been able to recover anything for you on this occasion.

I hope that any transactions you go on to make in the future go a lot more smoothly for you.

I replied and told them the bed is sitting min my bedroom as we speak and would they like a photo of it in situ along with a copy of my payment method?
It is the principle of the thing. How can they get away with saying order cancelled or returned just out of hand like that?

I will not be letting this one go without a fight.
Over the course of 4 years I have been paid roughly the same amount as I have been declined. Some not worth fighting over at the time. Some I did it wrong but this one I was spot on perfect.

Having a mare of a time getting my phone to email some photos to me that I need to complain about shoddy bedside table. On the plus side I have ordered white metal suitcases from lareoute in their very generous xmas offer and my builder is going to put triple pin legs on them. Will look perfect next to the bed dreams say I cancelled/returned:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Everytime I dealt with them, it got declined
Last lot was 2 Manchester Airport parkings.
I used them to find them so never searched elsewhere, but both declined
Fought & sent copies of emails etc, eventually got one payable.
Claimed the money but it still hasn't been paid - (20th October was by date)
Having to fight this now

Just been & checked & payment is by 3rd November....

To be honest even I have been standing back lately, not been going regularly and seem to be hitting the busiest days. I raised my eyebrows on Sunday after a man took about 8 packs of lamb mince giving no one else a look in, not quite sure how he managed to get them all. I must have given him a right look as he asked me if I wanted a pack. :rotfl: There is just no need to be greedy.

If I pick the right day there is a good crowd and we share around. :cool: I have no need to go so often now and it doesn't take long to get out of the loop of timing it right....

Oh and my Sunday shop didn't get added to my frocky total as it was food for November but I had a £4 off £30 expiring that day, would have been shame to let it go to waste.

I've been perusing s to see what to spend my points on for double up, I didn't realise that you could only double up £20 for each department. It's been fun getting all these nectar points, never had more than £5 before :rotfl:

Used the £20 code from the charles twitt email on some socks for dh and was going to use the one they send to dh for socks for bil, but I've since found that they stopped sending him emails in August did other people stop receiving the (almost daily) emails from them?

Many people have had to resort to taking things into their own hands (myself included) to get TCB to pay up at times by either contacting the supplier direct, contacting the FCA or going through small claims and being successful.

There are specific laws about inducing a purchase by way of cashback offers.

TCB have been avoiding paying out legitimate cashback for a long time, but people are getting wise to it and getting their money.

I didn't know there was a specific thread for TCB - would you mind telling me where to find it please ?
