    Hi there,

I can confirm that we have now received an update as regards to this status of this claim. Unfortunately it seems that the merchant has taken the decision to decline this submission, and as such we have not received any cashback to pay over to you or add as a pending indication to your account.

The reason that we have received to support this decision states…

    “Order Cancelled or returned
    ”.

We are sorry that we have not been able to recover anything for you on this occasion.

I hope that any transactions you go on to make in the future go a lot more smoothly for you.

    Kind regards,

    Colin

I replied and told them the bed is sitting min my bedroom as we speak and would they like a photo of it in situ along with a copy of my payment method?
It is the principle of the thing. How can they get away with saying order cancelled or returned just out of hand like that?

I will not be letting this one go without a fight.
Over the course of 4 years I have been paid roughly the same amount as I have been declined. Some not worth fighting over at the time. Some I did it wrong but this one I was spot on perfect.

Having a mare of a time getting my phone to email some photos to me that I need to complain about shoddy bedside table. On the plus side I have ordered white metal suitcases from lareoute in their very generous xmas offer and my builder is going to put triple pin legs on them. Will look perfect next to the bed dreams say I cancelled/returned:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Suggest you pop over to the TCB thread and post that and get the TCB rep to take a look. There are also people there who can advise on the best way to retreive your monies due from TCB.
Many people have had to resort to taking things into their own hands (myself included) to get TCB to pay up at times by either contacting the supplier direct, contacting the FCA or going through small claims and being successful.

There are specific laws about inducing a purchase by way of cashback offers.

TCB have been avoiding paying out legitimate cashback for a long time, but people are getting wise to it and getting their money.

Thanks for this. Just had a look but couldn't find thread. Could you possibly point me in the right direction?
    TIA

It's not very clear with the sizing but as it has an internal divider i'd say that's a 2 piece job. Anyway it's Sports Direct and NOBODY should give them money the way the treat people.

Good Luck with tcb, I am also sick of chasing declined cash back especially from big purchases.

I posted about the La redoute offer the other day as i have ordered branded stuff for ds birthday, placed 2 orders so far and considering another but in Mr curls name this time to get 13% new customer discount with tcb if it is still on/honoured!
curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!
