    Good morning all

Another vote of thanks to Bubbs

Was really quite sad last night Nothing life changing just disappointed for DIL father

He is really badly disabled through MS Cant walk etc etc but as 40th anniversary gift he and his wife were going on a last holiday A cruise to the Caribbean

Short version Plane was overweight and the removed 6 bags One was his. They advised the wife who thought they would be put on next plane They will not be reunited with clothes for 10 days

They offered to let him buy clothes on ship , but his are comfy and he has shoes specially made to meet his needs Spent the first day in his cabin while staff laundered his traveling clothes

He will be ill with anxiety

Seeing it is the Caribbean not much will be needed. If they ask entertainments manager there is usually a surplus of crew clothes left in laundry. Chinos and a white shirt could be found and there may even be a dinner suit they could lend him. Did you know every ship has an onboard tailor? they are their to make up uniforms for the Drs who join the ships and new crew.
10 days seems an extremely long time. They only need to send case ahead to a port of call say 48 hours in the future.
Not the easiest place to go ashore and buy clothes either. Hopefully some polo shirts from onboard shop and shorts of some sort will tide him over.
No need to say keep every receipt including onboard account.

Timely reminder never to have his and hers suitcases but to put a few clothes in each case.

I do feel sorry for him and sounds like airline are not doing their best:(

I also have a new phone .got it 2 weeks ago but had t go to Vodafone to get my number put on a little sim. So at last I am using it but it is hypnotising me with a flashing light at the top corner .which I can't get rid of.

Not only annoying but will use up battery.

    Must be in settings somewhere.

Oh what a day.... straightforward to get to Newcastle but then when you have to go via the hospital using the metro and buses and back again it seems to take an age. I'm not moving for the rest of the day
