    Good morning all

Another vote of thanks to Bubbs

Was really quite sad last night Nothing life changing just disappointed for DIL father

He is really badly disabled through MS Cant walk etc etc but as 40th anniversary gift he and his wife were going on a last holiday A cruise to the Caribbean

Short version Plane was overweight and the removed 6 bags One was his. They advised the wife who thought they would be put on next plane They will not be reunited with clothes for 10 days

They offered to let him buy clothes on ship , but his are comfy and he has shoes specially made to meet his needs Spent the first day in his cabin while staff laundered his traveling clothes

He will be ill with anxiety

Morning all, hope everyone is well.
Not read back fully yet but this is so sad. Bless him, his shoes cannot be bought on board the staff should have checked who's bag they were removing :( xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

You're right there cjj, as a disabled traveller he could have something he would need whilst away in that case. You would think they could check, it wouldn't take long.

Good luck, hope you get the job xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Last year DD and her new husband went to thailand on honeymoon and they lost their luggage on the way out and on the way back and luggage was damaged too. They gave them £30.00 ( in Thai Baht ) to buy a few things and luckily luggage turned up after 24 hours. They flew Etihad who apparently are notorious for losing luggage. When we picked them up at Heathrow luggage was missing again and was delivered to there home next day but the lovely Samsonite cases I bought them were all scratched.
No compensation as Etihad are useless.

    Good morning all...

I am still feeling to ill to face the world...the cold, cough and general ache is just dragging me down beyond belief.

I can feel the pain of the coughing slowly sinking onto my chest and being asthmatic is not helping....I fear that if I dont get on top of this soon I could end up with it all winter.
Sadly each time I contact the GP I am told that I need to be leaving it 3 weeks before they will let me have an appointment to see if it clears of it's own accord and to keep taking my asthma inhalers as directed!!!
No energy to argue differently with them or anyone else for that matter at the moment......
I even had to send OH out to the corner shop for bread and milk at vastly inflated prices.....
