I wondered if anyone could kindly help me please,I don't post often as I am not very good on the computer.I want to spend quite a bit at Wilko on wallpaper, paint etc and remember reading something on here sometime ago about buying giftcards at Tesco and getting a discount or extra points.Would someone be really kind and tell me if this is still available or point me in the right direction for any discounts. Thanks for any help.:)

tesco have done discounted gc and done extra points for buying a certain value. unfortunately the extra points finished about a week ago. but im hoping it will return in november or december via a coupon in their mag (normally do for christmas). whether they do wilko ones in store i do not know

i was in there today, my bill came to about £17 luckily i had £15 of apg's and a bit of change
who needs credit card in asda anyway :p
only drawback i had was, i could not see if apgs were accepted by pressing the credit card button. before switching back to cash. but all was well.
  • Many thanks to everyone for your help re Wilko gift cards.I think it was something to do with a voucher in the Tesco mag now someone has mentioned it.:)

A Co-op I popped into the other day had a similar problem and couldn't serve anyone for a while, so I popped right back out again, but I did smile at the elderly gentleman who was asking loudly 'Have they never heard of pen and paper?' :)

has anyone tried an apg test, to see if we are back to 2hrs.
ive only just remembered about last year, but my shop today was at 12.30
so if you have an asda receipt more than 2hrs old but less than 3hrs, please test

They had been offering 150 cc points on £50 spend. Stopped that after many years :( and then started 75 bonus points for )25 gift card spend. That ended about a week ago and we are now waiting to see if they return with another offer.
