    Thanks everyone for kind words.

Finally managed to get to sleep last night only to dream I was in a car and woke with a start just as it crashed into another car:eek:

DD1 is all over the place. At first when she saw the car she thought he was dead. Then it seemed like he was OK apart from bruising. Then discovered the broken vertebrae on arrival at hospital.

The hospital were going to transfer him for an operation last night but for some reason delayed. But because there was the possibility he can't have anything to eat or drink. And he's strapped up to prevent him moving so can't even wee in a bottle unaided!

DD1 and his mother are at the hospital with him. I just hope they operate soon.

Re the Amex card - the Costco Amex is fee free - does this card get the same benefits as the ones you are discussing? Costco USA are no longer in partnership with Amex, but looks like the UK one is still going. TIA :)

Sorry, have never looked into the Costco Amex. It might be worth looking at the Head For Points website. Pretty much all cards which attract points of some sort get analysed on there.
