    Morning all :)
Really scratching around for Sunday lunch. Best I can come up with is a three bird roast from the murky depths of the freezer. I think it's from the year before last's Christmas Eve reductions at S  Just need to get some potatoes, veg and lunch bits for the week. I have a £2.92 Mullers app and a little bit of cash in hand so I think we'll make it. It's been a long month lol.

It was reported that the meal deal had stopped "working" house elf

Sounds like you've had a great weekend. Isn't it weird how tired you can get just walking around:rotfl:

    No :p:D

I usually average 10 mile a day but my two days away saw me a clock 15 and 16 miles - did I feel any worse for wear? No. I'm a firm believer in overall general fitness, so you can enjoy such things without having to stop every 5 mins to catch your breath/ sit down and the aches and pains that come after :o
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

You know that William Morris quote often used by declutterers,

"Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”

Well I'm hankering after these and I feel they tick both boxes:)

Couldn't get them all in the pic but there's 10 of them altogether now at half price.
My minds going overtime as to how I can display them in the bathroom. We have a very large open fronted storage unit which is full of hairbrushes, nail varnishes etc which needs a good clean out and I'm thinking they would look good in there.
Not very MSE but they just scream indulgence:)

I think a brisk walk in the fresh air leaves you invigorated....not that I would do 15 miles:rotfl: but a walk around the Metro Centre for example or the busy streets of London leaves you exhausted. There's no stride to get into, you take shorter steps to stop you walking into the back of people, you dodge pushchairs and do lots of those little dances when someone walks straight into you:rotfl:

Anyway....are you feeling any better Westie.....sorry to hear you'd been under the weather:o

Can't sleep tonight - DD1's boyfriend involved in a car crash yesterday. The roof had to be cut off the car to get him out. They think he has broken his back. Was going to have operation last night but now probably today :(

As you are an Amex expert hg;)

Just a question.....I've signed up for the card......and I know the first year is free, do people just cancel the card before the second year kicks in?

Apart from the small shops promotion is there anything else I need to know now?:)

Fascinating about the new RBS £5 note

    http://stv.tv/news/features/1371159-designers-reveal-hidden-secrets-in-new-scottish-5-banknote/?utm_content=bufferf5010&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer

Apparently if you have the blippar app you can scan it over the note and watch the designs come to life.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
