I posted earlier in the week OH had a couple of Basal Cell Carcinoma's removed from his forehead and was feeling very down with a very sore head and large scar.
Anyway he is feeling much better but the subject of him coming back to live with me came up again. I still live in what is the family home on joint names so he is entitled to ask. So its still being discussed but looks like it might happen in the new year. He will sleep eat and wash etc in the house but the plan is for him to get a small caravan to use as his lounge and to keep his books and maps. He would also like a wood burner as he has one where he is now. He and I dont like the same tv and I did suggest he have a tv upstairs but he wasnt keen.
On a financial note it would mean we would both save nearly £500.00 per month and that would definitely take the pressure off me to find extra work. It would also mean I could put some money away over the next 3 years for retirement.
It would also mean we should be able to stay in the house and not downsize.
We do see each other sometimes 2 times a day go shopping together and on holiday and out for meals so in some ways we are like many other married couples. The subject came up as I said how sad it was that due to all of his years of drinking our money away we still have a mortgage and not a lot of nice things in our home.

This is my outfit for tonight. I am NOT going with the white contact lenses

I have between shoulder and middle of my back length hair, which is very fine and won't tolerate lots of back combing.

    Any ideas please folks?
Wonder if TS is around? Her daughter will have hair ideas I'm sure. I know Superdrug sell all kinds of spray on colours, chalks etc. Could you do lots of little plaits now and keep them in all day so it's all crinkly when you take them out?
  • Can anyone remember when the Amazon card offer in Morrie's for the 3000 points finishes?
Also does anyone know if I can buy M&s gift cards from there to pay my credit card bill as there is 25 points per pound I've got 5000 points wys £40 so thought I could combine them.

    Good morning.

I couldn't see any halloween offer either

Go into your account and click on codes , type it in and either you get one or you don't lol
  • I've answered my own question about the credit card you can't use gift cards, that's a shame.
I spent £29 on Amazon yesterday and forgot I'd bought a gift card, never mind it looks as though the pram may be bought from there so I'm thinking I might as well use the conditional points and buy another couple if the offer is still on.

Well Kirkby Lonsdale was as lovely as ever on Wednesday, but I do love Harrogate too. Where would you be staying? That could be the decider.

I buckled last night after seeing that there was one available weekend date at our favourite posh B&B in the Cotswolds:o:):T

    Hi emerald
Where is the Halloween Zeek code please. Tiaxx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

Good choice I love the Cotswolds too. KL is beautiful but a bit limited at filling in a whole weekend there once you've been as often as you and I have. We looked at the room prices for the Sun Inn the other day :eek::eek:
The rooms were lovely but :eek::eek:
