What would you say if the reason was....'I am not sure I want to work for xxxx, I know you want me...... persuade me why I should work for you.'

    (yeap... I have said this...)

It would have to be a very strong candidate who said that. I personally feel that if someone's heart is not in it, they won't be good for the job, but perhaps that's because I work in the charitable sector and the same might not apply in the commercial world. My paperwork should have spelt out why someone should work for us and if it does not, it has been drawn up very badly.

Thank you - but I have just managed to find a copy of the T&C's so I am ready for an argument ![/QUOTE

Yes the silly bu**ers refused me and we own our own house

They wouldn't let my DH have one either - they said he couldn't have been with his Bank for as long as he stated !!! Well, he certainly has had the same Lloyds account since they split off from TSB. Gave upp in the end as they just wouldn't accept what we were telling them.

  • Meant to say, picked up the Noah's Ark from Argos today.

To all those that know the size of it, please try to imagine me riding home with it strapped to my pannier on my bike :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I shouted in, asking if this was the new way of communicating with each other.
