    Good morning Elite :hello:

Clouds have opened up and the sun is shining brightly:). Off out to who knows where, just going to drive down the country lanes enjoying the flora and fauna :j

Enjoy your shopping, see you later X
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

    :)

Washing in machine, fingers crossed it stays dry for the next few hours :rotfl:

Have spent morning clearing up the paving slab trail left through the house by Fourp the other day :( At least I can now open front door without shame :o:o

Admittedly garden looking better :T I've planted the idea of a pergola on one side - so far he has shown me ½ boats that are covered seats...

inevitably I've got one bed linen load washed and on the line, another in the machine, all beds stripped and the sun has gone in :(

looks like I am going to be looking for the spare bed linen and trying to figure out which identical sheet and duvet cover is for a double and which is for a king size bed ...

I love this planting ideas thing. OH is now delighted that he had the idea to change the internal doors :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I am sure Fourp will be convinced his idea was wonderful :D

Have to say the ones that are done look absolutely fabulous, but it has hard work waxing them

mhoc, I think they should base a soap opera on your life

I've always said it would never get beyond the one off airing and then veetoed as being too unrealistic and not true to life :)

my soap opera would be written by a newly out of uni media studies student who barely scrapped through and has had to take a non paying script writing job for her first year ...:rotfl:

The omnibus would be 3 hours of you emailing cashback companies because they haven't paid out or answered your emails within 24 hours :rotfl:

Its funny how one thing leads to another.

I needed to send some money to someone but they said they would only have a cheque. The cheque book lives in a dusty corner on the desk, long, long ago evicted from the handbag
I found the cheque book and I then noticed 2 things - 1stly the cheque book must be about 5 years old as the first stub is for college winter skills course 2ndly it only has 2 cheques in it.
I don't really know now what is the quickest method of getting a new book is so I ring the bank up and order one.

the nice lady says you should have been automatically sent a new book but that might have been years ago.

so afterwards I check the very back of the desk draw to see if I have actually got a spare cheque book I've long forgotten about - I find a cheque book for eldest child who no longer belongs to this bank, my Dads cheque book which I cant let go of yet and a couple of our cheque books with account numbers I don't recognize - so most of these have to go in the shredder apart from my dads.

also I unearthed 2 bank credit slips dated 2011 and 2013 :( so this desk draw is more than ready to be emptied, downsized and compacted as soon as we get another wet afternoon - which might be sooner rather than later

so the postie will be bringing a new cheque book and I am getting prickles at the back of my neck as if a new cheque book has some significance and this is all down to fate ....
