I've had a stew slowly cooking for most of the day....I just checked it and realised that instead of a spoonful of gravy granules,I must have added a spoonful of cocoa powder this morning...i's a little sweeter than normal so I'm now trying to balance the flavour out with red wine!

Tea tonight may be interesting ....
That sounds err, unusual :D That said, I'm sure I saw one of the TV chefs suggesting dark chocolate makes a good addition to chilli, so maybe it won't be too bad.
We've got free fish from COS.

We've got free fish on Friday evening....

You're doing fab on your budget..it might end up all round at your house for a final party on the leftover money...you seem to be the only one still standing to the start figure.

I have to admit that it's actually going easier now for me than it did at the beginning, and its almost becoming habit forming so I think we will keep elements of frugalness going forward.

Lol, I'm always the first to tell other people how important it is to make the appointment but I still hate doing it for myself. Men definitely have it easier.

Well, after several smears and an internal ultrasound () I've decided the best attitude to have is to not give a !!!! :D:D

Thanks Seren....mine is not venision,it was a lovely bit of meat counter stewing steak that was RTC in T for 40p a couple of weeks back.....but good to see I'm on the right lines!

I blame being half asleep whilst just going through the motions of making it this morning....I even bought some fresh crusty bread to go with it (using a wombled APG)

The wine seems to have thinned the juice out a bit...I used the good stuff that came as an added extra in a mystery case a few months back DM said it was a good one....it's a good job he's on holiday he will be mortified that I really have put it in a stew!
