Look for a hotel with spa attached. Probably work out a lot cheaper than a dedicated spa.

Some tables show return flights and some single journey.

What is the route you are looking at?

    Arnica for bruising.

Will try later think I have some of the tablets at home. Thanks

Thanks rose, I hadn't thought about doing fixed price listing, I've always just done 7 or 10 day auctions. I'll give your method a try :)

Yes give it a go. People can still make you offers and if you like the price you can accept them. I also have found postage is getting more expensive so make sure you charge enough. Got my busy time coming next week. H&M do a designer collection and I usually buy most of it and double my money.

Just having a quick flick through the wines which are 2 for £3.00.

The Trivento Reserve Malbec should compare £4.50 to £3 Morries offer. Or as a fall back to 2 for £3.50 in Tesco. All depends if base price still £2.25 in store.

    There may be others :)

    Good morning all...

I've been up and out early to do my shopping...and spent 10p in A as I had a couple of wombled APG'S to use up....just as I got to the car I found another receipt which has produced another APG of £3 so I've basically replaced the ones used.

I fancy a wander round T later ....Snap and her pyrex dishes yesterday has got me wondering if I too could home a few so I may need to scratch that itch.

I also have a conditional clothing spend for F&F clothes and I'm wondering if I might buy a few christmas socks and have a look at the snuggly dressing gowns...I guess if I dont like them when I get home they could always be returned.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

And talking of spas this one is worth book marking

    Beech Hill Windermere

    http://beechhillhotel.co.uk/offers/lake-district-spa-break/

There are various offers all over the internet but that one for £69 per person per night - 2 nights bed and breakfast, a treatment and a 2 course dinner on the first night is very good value. This is for October but its worth keeping an eye out for similar deals.

OH had a voucher for a one night hotel break as part of his long service award and we stayed there. Nearly all of the rooms look out over Windermere, nice big sized rooms.
The pool area is brand new and is far better quality than many hotels we have been to. It also has a sauna and steam room, all clear glass. Best of all you go out onto an artificial grass area to the hot Jacuzzi and you can enjoy the heat overlooking the lake.

The lounge area has a lake view terrace and again the breakfast room has views to die for.

Surely the crass and horrid young lady would have to have had power of attorney ? If she's going against her mums wishes plus leaving her to lie alone crying for hours etc I'd ring one of the charities like help the aged ( however I do note this is also about rent and rubbish so only Rupert her if your concern is for the pensioner not the debt!) Who will gone you some great advice and access to resources like the police if there is genuine concern. So sad
