  • . That seems easy enough, thank you :)

Your student number is your email add you signed up with for the course. If you can't find the course on NUS click other then other. Just put in start date etc.

I added the NUS app to my phone and logged in, my NUS no comes up on the app, handy if you want to copy and paste to a website for your discount, also lists many places you can get your NUS discount :)

the NUS card is one of the best things about being a student xx

    Afternoon all!

Just popping in to say I just bought a meal for 2 at Harvester, includes a main, unlimited salad bar and a drink. Used a discount code for 15% the first time, total £17, then found another code for 20% so got a second for £16! Not bad considering DH and I enjoy going there occasionally for a cheap night out, and it just got even cheaper :D Hope that helps anyone looking for a cheap meal out, but check the excluded restaurants before buying.

Google reckons it's a hoax. Similar messages going round with 'on the radio in the USA' instead of 'BBC radio'. I'd ignore it. Same rules apply as always, don't open attachments you're not expecting and/or from people you don't know.

Yeah it's perfectly possible in that respect (and I think the show is really interesting, shows how dependent we are on cash machines, mobiles, internet etc. and how easy it is to track someone if you have the power). But it's a typical spam message and apparently did the rounds last year as 'dance of the pope', so I'd say ignore both the message and the video, just to be on the safe side :)

ETA: I'd be more concerned about the cameras on my phone/xbox/cctv being used, and have you seen how the Internet of Things is being used to create DDoS attacks to bring down big websites?
