  • Hi guys, does anyone know of any decent comparisons with the 25% wine offer at Tosco, my neighbour has kindly offered to take me shopping tomorrow and her hubby works for Tosco, and she gets double discount (20%?) so, should get 45% off the wine anyways, but a nice comparable wine would make it cheaper still, thanks. x
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Hello all, long time no see :D
Was lovely to see LS twice in the last week, had a good quick catch up and I now feel guilty for not popping on here more often :o new man seems to be making you really happy LS :)
I work too hard :( 44 hour weeks are so tiring!

    Hey sunshinemummy

DH got hit by a lorry on the motorway a few weeks back
He's fine but the car is possibly never coming home. So we have had to bring plans forward and go out and buy me a new car for when I pass my test so DH can still get to work and back again.
It's just another thing we hadn't bargained on committing ourselves to so soon
But he is fine and that's all that matters, just a shame the new car is small and doesn't have much boot space for glitch shopping :rotfl: will be perfect for me to pootle around in when I can drive though :D

Hope everyone is fun and hugs to all that need them :)

OMG, you didn't say about your DH, so glad he is ok.

I was coming on especially to say I'd seen you and tell ssm I'd passed her love on, but you beat me to it! Looked out for you today but no sign!

Thanks for the comments I've seen, you're all very kind, and the particularly lovely pm I had too. :A I'm not deserving of it at all as have neglected on here for weeks. :o
  • Good evening...hope you are all keeping well...A bit of news if you have had some problems with internet sites today....:D

Many sites including Twitter, Shopify and Spotify suffering outage

A major cyberattack against an internet directory knocked dozens of popular websites offline today, with outages continuing into the afternoon.

Twitter, SoundCloud, Spotify, Shopify, and other websites have been inaccessible to many users for most of the morning. The outages are the result of a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack on the DNS provider Dyn, the company confirmed. The outage was first reported on Hacker News.

My dh doesn't know that we are being frugal through October and when I made my tuna pasta for his lunch the other day when he got home from work he said, my lunch was lovely thank you that made a nice change. If only he knew it was because we had run out of salad.

We sat out last night from about 8.30 and saw quite a few, it was cloudy though otherwise it would have been fantastic.

Snap, I had made a big pot of pasta and put it in pots... all gone!

    Very very cheap lunches!

Right, I have a problem, DD gave us their leftover food when they moved, and I have got out of the freezer what looks like 4 chicken thighs with various veg. Would love to know what it is supposed to be but can't find it online, iT is in a foil dish with a red and yellow mix and match 2 for £7 on stickered meat, fish and poultry packs on it and it has a blue new sticker on it. Any ideas where I might find it listed please?

Think I have found similar, looks like it is supposed to be some sort of casserole. Will have to use guesswork, defrost and cook for 40 minutes or so should do it.

lol... I got rhubarb out of the freezer. It turned out to be chilli!
