I know, but the idea is that this makes money.

Over last weekend, I spent £40 on clothes (that I have kept) and about £70 on petrol/diesel (which I would have spent), and got £200 in nectar points, so £160 up, and when I double it I will be :D:D:D

I have tickets to a housebuilding show beginning of Nov in Harrogate. OH asked if we should book a hotel room..:eek::eek: I would drive to Scotland/London and back in a day... he has no resilience. The answer is no. He is :(

I don't want to rain on any parades about the S double up, but as far as I remember over the last couple of events you were limited in how much per nec card that you could double up. I think the max was £40 and that had to be over more than 1 shopping area such as toys, entertainment, sparkling wine, festive food?. Now I'm not sure and I could be completely wrong, perhaps Auu1 or someone else who partook may remember.

If you have more than 1 nec card it might be easier. I use mine and OH's.

If you double up £20 to £40 on say clothes, there is nothing to stop you going back and doubling up another £20 to £40 (even though the T&Cs say you can't)

I don't think you can spend 2x£40 together though, a bit like how you couldn't spend 2 BMs of the same value and you couldn't add 2 swipe and wine coupons of the same amount in the same transaction

You might be able to spend a £10, £20, £30, £40 but I'm not sure.

What are people doing with Lakeland

Nectar has an offer giving random points, you need to go to the Nectar website, click the link, there is no minimum spend, but the full transaction needs to be done on the internet so lakeland appears the best as they do free click and collect.

Was oyur first time there, but yes, that's the plan for future visits!! and \i have some very big handbags!

Good girl...... when I go out with the girls I always have a bottle in the magic bag. Usually tequila and shot glasses!

Although I have to admit, the last social event was a wedding which we had pre-drinks before hand in my hotel room....... we turned up very very drunk! It was a good job that the bride is one of the girls!

You are right, they had these restrictions in place but the £40 on each department soon gets spent. x
