Thank you - I've just done my self assessment for 2015/16 and have included interest from savings . It was this year ie 2016/17 that I was concerned about - I thought the £1000 allowance started this year ?

My Palmolive was £2 instore but scanned at 2 4 £2 - I bought Feel Glamorous an So Relaxed. I took a chance cos they both showed as £1.50 each on the Asda site - but they compared at £2 each so effectively a bit better than free after the 10%.
