Oh must tell you....I overheard a conversation today....2 youngish women looking through a hamper magazine....choosing which ones they were getting for Christmas. One has been paying £1+ every week for nearly a year for the sweets hamper which is basically the rubbish we can buy as fillers in A.

I suggested that it might be cheaper to just buy the stuff and put it away each week but that idea went down like a lead balloon.:o

Oh I'm on a roll now trying to find that hamper leaflet....can't locate it but here is a sweets one from Parks Hampers:eek:

After all the interesting posts last week I've decided to try and do something about my pension - I have bits all over the place and no idea what I should be doing with them. So I took a deep breath and have made an appointment with Pension Wise for tomorrow morning. Have spent this evening gathering up random bits of paper in preparation. I also got DH to ask about buying extra years in his company scheme but that option is no longer available so we need to think of something else for him.
