Happy birthday seren
Nice to hear lady shopper full of beans
Well today I am thankful that my son had bought himself new trainers , he came home from New York today and had bought new shoes, he put them away in the shoe cupboard, anyway when his dad came home he went to get them and noticed there was a liquid on them, yesterday I had a bodyshop parcel come and as it was a present I just put it on top the shoe rack out of the way, turns out it was leaking and has gone in the main fuse board and was begining to smoke, the electrician said we are lucky as it wouldn't of tripped as there was no fault and would have just caught fire:eek:One cannot change the past, but one can ruin the present by worrying over the future.0 -

As TM would say: :eek::eek: :rotfl:Well done! Brave to go for a short term, we've always been too nervous to shorten the term in case we can't afford the payments or need the money for something else. Very disciplined of you:T
It's worth looking into, there's lots of different options. For example, we're shortening our term by overpaying each month, but our Nationwide mortgage allows us to use the overpayments to pay our normal monthly payment in future if we had an emergency or financial problems, so it's sort of like a savings account, but also saves us a lot of interest too0 -

Shark grey, Picasso c4 I think! all I know is it has wheels, doors seats and it seems a nice drive. It is 7 seats 2 folded away in the boot when not in use., and the modern tech.. I really haven't a clue...no proper key, no handbrake, and 6 gears...:o
The car we are now getting rid of - the one where I broke down the other week due to a split fuel pump we had had for nearly 12 years with no problems.
Annoyingly we went to s at the weekend and over 6 transactions filled the car up ...£60:eek: and as im not going to London unless im called upon very soon we have a lot of fuel to use.
This almost mirrors my story....we just bought a grey Mazda CX-5...no key no handbrake and 6 gears !! The car we got rid of we had for 11 years and it didn't let us down once !

... And another thing. Why did I buy 13 Müller? 13? I paid more for the last one than I did for the other 4 shops over recent weeks .
I am an idiot!
... and no room in the fridge for other food as it is stacked with blinking Mullers. "Why do you never get Mullers?" They asked. Funny how interest suddenly wanes with a fridge full

As TM would say: :eek::eek: :rotfl:
It's worth looking into, there's lots of different options. For example, we're shortening our term by overpaying each month, but our Nationwide mortgage allows us to use the overpayments to pay our normal monthly payment in future if we had an emergency or financial problems, so it's sort of like a savings account, but also saves us a lot of interest too
I have been saving in my 123 account, and then paying chunks of the mortgage off but as they are dropping the interest rate so low I thought it would be best to repay as much as possible. I have then transferred the account to a 123 light account, which gives me the same cash back but no interest (as there is no money that is fine)... just need to sort out a new credit card (I am trying to read about avoid) and to sort out a small saving account. Santander do a frequent saver unto £200 a month at 3%, which will allow me to move money if I am a little stuck.
I have to admit, I am nervous at taking this plunge... not even told OH but as he has had nothing to do with money for 30 years...... it really is nothing to do with him! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:100 -
