I have been looking at the Speak Out game on fleabay and am appalled by the tactics of some sellers. I specifically selected 'UK only' as a filter, yet in the results, some claim the item is in UK then the small print says to allow 20 days+ for airmail from China.
I don't want one, I've got one, but I don't want it.... just researching...:D
The eBay one I got arrived yesterday and is faker than a fake thing. The box opens differently, the colours on the box are different. There are four packs of cards inside whereas my genuine one has two, there is no barcode or British safety mark. Oh and the fake timer is pink but the real one is white.
I'm in the process of trying to find out how to get my money back - it's advertised as genuine but clearly is not. I messaged the seller and got a response that I'd been sent the American version :rotfl::rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. I know what you mean about some people on AI holidays, you would think they are never going to eat again :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
The proper strategy for the buffet AI dinner is to choose one main each meal. They always put virtually the same stuff out each night, so if you take a (little) bit of everything you end up eating the same food night after night and it gets boring. If you imagine it as a menu and you choose just one main food, you end up eating a different meal every day and the food becomes more interesting.Sunshinemummy wrote: »So today I have:
Changed my 123 account - to a light 123
Paid some of the mortgage off
When this is processed, I am changing the mortgage to 1.69% for 2 years with the term of the mortgage being 4 years... I will be skint.
Found fraud on my CC, sorted that issue
Hit brick wall with Diamond Club
To do:
Continue to try with the Diamond club
Sort out an regular saver account
Change utility support
Cook tea for OH, as I am home!
Tonight, do some flipping.
Well done! Brave to go for a short term, we've always been too nervous to shorten the term in case we can't afford the payments or need the money for something else. Annoying, if I had more than one M&S nearby I would take them back one at a time to maximise the return, but I think three at a time (I only got 6) will be good enough, that will sort out some Christmas shopping
