I think I must have been dropped by Orchard :o. I joined but as I am not active on FB I didn't spread the word and forgot to give feedback, so my own fault really.

    Anin

I have never linked my FB to my orchard ac and didn't do any reports for one campaign although I did remember to do the post survey for it. I then kept up with the online surveys missed getting invites for quite a few things but eventually back on board with the wine/meat one. It is all in the quality you write not quantity. ;)

I haven't behaved myself, think I might have defrocked myself at whoopsie time. :o Those yellow stickers hypnotised me.

I spent just over £11, came back with enough food for Mr TS to ask did I use the £4 off £30 spend till split he got the other day. :rotfl:

Afraid I was tempted by the apple pie, cherry pie, oreo donuts, Cadbury caramel donuts, almond croissants, cherry bakewell Danish and the large GU lemon cheesecake. :o If I live closer to LEJC I would share my spoils. ;)

I also got 750g beef mince for 90p, a finest family sized lasagne for £2.10 (don't think I could have made it for that ;)), 2 lots of pork and chilli min pies from the deli must be around 6 in each pack.

Few bits of fruit and veg too.

I have frozen as much as I can, if we had nothing else in it would have easily fed us all week but I already had enough in if I am honest. :o

I only went for carrots as we had run out. :o

Don't you grow them at your allotment?

    Good morning all...

Tiny..I'm so pleased for your DD,well done
and what a great shop you had last night with the whoopsies,I need to do something like that soon,we are running out of fresh stuff so instead of a morning shop today I will be trying a little later this evening.

I had a bit of a down moment about it all last night.I think it stemmed a little from the trip to the cinema on Saturday...we watched I Daniel Blake....gritty,somewhat true to life in a northern town for lots of people and it just hit home how much some people just need some compassion and kindness in their lives.....there are preview screenings of it before the film is released, its no fairytale with a happy ending but for those who are interested in social interaction and observing others lives its a real insight.

anyway back to the frugalness....I need bread milk and orange squash today so in effect that will wipe out any available money to spend so its reduced fishcakes from the freezer and I have a large sweet potato that I can probably do something with.
We have one large box of thorntons chocs left from when they were £1 a box earlier in the year so that was opened last night and will probably last into next week as treats.desserts/puddings whatever you want to call it.

OH has next week off work as holiday,we are not going away but thats when I really see a challenge to keep it going....normally we would have a few meals out as part of day trips etc but the budget wont allow it this time...so if we do go out it will be with a creative picnic!
I am starting to have enormous respect for those that do manage on a tight budget for whatever reason,it is starting to become a juggle to decide between buying what I need and what I want...and I'm only 4 days in.....for some this is week in week out and a lifestyle, not even necessarily by choice.

Onwards and upwards to the day...have a good one all and make the most of it x
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

Oh dear Snap - sorry to hear that, but it seems he has been OK since ♥

Many thanks MKS. I haven't told Steve and Andy about booking the lounge yet as it's a surprise ;) I asked on phone tonight what time we were aiming to get there, knowing that Steve always allows loads of time to get places, so we have settled on getting there 9.30 :rotfl: Just got to make sure they are dressed according to the smart casual wear as Andy does like his shorts :rotfl:

Oh I quickly noticed this filling end fridge amongst normall chilled stuff today. Didn't take much notice as mine on specialist food

Shorts are usually fine providing they are smart - not denim. I've always had denim jeans (black) on and never had a problem. Haven't checked but usually a code for FHR floating around which may make it cheaper for the lounge.
