Indeed - thanks for telling me about the Passion Fruit! (I'll have to see what that's comparing against as I was unaware about it:o:rotfl:.) But the 4 pack Sweetcorn Cobettes - 76p each in M:(.

    [...]

I guess I'd add 3 pack Passion Fruit, to look for something at 82p.

I'm sorry I'm so late in the day and way late again, as I've been incommunicado out at M all day. I think the Passion Fruit comparison is a glitch. There was therefore no need for any of my previous embarrassment at all, as I haven't missed anything here. I've been unable to find 3 pack Passion Fruit in M. However, I have found SELs for an individual Passion Fruit at 82p:D. Obviously I had no need to pick up such an expensive price for a single Passion Fruit! The A comp. seems good though, comparing a 3 pack againat a single one:rotfl:.

Of course I don't know whether this will continue, and it's very late now as you might need to do a shop very early in case the system updates from Monday quite soon. It's possible that it could continue (anything's possible:rotfl:) if they have A's 3 pack Passion Fruit continually linked up with the single Passion Fruit in M, however I think it is more likely to be a result from a single price collection, a bit like the Peach Punnet picked up M's more expensive Flat Peaches:( once but then went back to picking up the right Peaches (I think after A's price had fallen so it was hopeless anyway).

M seem quite expensive though, as 3 pack Passion Fruits are available in T (and of course A) at £1. To get three from M, using individual Passion Fruits would cost £2.46:eek:. So, grab the A's 3 pack immediately if you can.

So they got the 3 pack Passion Fruit incorrectly getting the price of the single Passion Fruit and :(failed to pick up M's Sweetcorn Cobettes 4 pack at all.

In M itself, there are some new offers of course. Don't buy these with Passion Fruit as they are brand new in M:rotfl:. I suspect everyone will already know the standard Oat So Simples are £1 in M. Bernard Matthews Turkey Dinosaurs and Golden Drummers have gone back to £1 yet again. The cleaning offers from last week are, as known, mostly off now - although some of them, for example the wipes, have moved to different versions, slightly better (but still not very good:rotfl:) namely from some Dettol 80 wipes to Dettol 84 wipes at £2:eek:. Really we should want half of that offer price as 40 pack own label are known to go down, at other times, to 50p. As regards the other cleaning products, it's mainly just the Toilet Duck 750ml cleaners that are still left on offer.

I think Bonio and Winalot Shapes are off. And I think the Wagg 12Kg plus 25% extra free are off too - we'll have to see if that's correct as that's the impression I've been left with from my stores:rotfl:.

Other than that, there's way too much to mention and in fact I've no idea when I am going to update it as I have appointments to attend to today. The individual 'fresh' Hollands Pies have gone back to 50p, so it's good I picked stores in North West England this time - in fact all of the ones I picked had them - and that's where they seem mainly to exist. I therefore also know that the £1 offer on the Clayton Park Meat & Potato Pie (or whatever it is that I have on my list from last week) has moved onto the Clayton Park Cottage Pie, as those products seem specific to the North West as well. However, I suspect there are items in the South East of England, and Scotland, that go on and off offer and I'm unaware of them as I've not been able to visit those parts of the country.

I now think I must be getting some store specific RTCs on some items, as Johnson's No More Tangles (500ml) turns out to be full price everywhere else and has scanned at that. I think the Johnson's Baby Nappy Cream (110g) - all from memory:) - and the Maternity Towels on the list are also store specific. They are not showing with store specific markdowns though but with SELs that are the same as national RTCs. So, it seems the only way of knowing is by coming across every other store having full price - unless all my other stores are not showing the offer and I've got only one that has put the SEL up (and that does happen from time to time - I can find five stores all showing full price and then my sixth will have the offer label on and clear offer until October). I've scanned the No More Tangles though and it has scanned at full price (at SS) so I think the other baby items are store specific too. Except that, intriguingly, one other store has gone to even better price (that is store specific) on their RTC shelf on one of the items, suggesting there was some RTC on them - I often find national RTCs and then individual stores will have those items, on their RTCs shelves, even cheaper - so watch out for those!

I think the Ayumi products on my list may also be a store that is no longer wanting to stock this part of M's range, so is clearing them out from that store. Nonetheless, there is an M with the prices on my list so they are available from M somewhere at those prices (but I suspect most stores that have them, and not many stores seem to have them in the first place) will be full price (not even offer price anymore) as is showing online. The other ones I had before were some of the screwdrivers and Harris Taskmaster/Sterling products, which I also now suspect may have been an individual store clearance, some car accessory items - indeed I now have a range of Turtle Wax products from one other store that might be a specific clearance from there - and the Cherry Blossom shoe polishes etc. from about a month ago. They were only ever showing RTC prices in one store for me, continued to show full prices everywhere else that had them - until I scanned them and they returned at full price:(. They were supposed to be on until October, at least in the one store, but I have been able to revisit that store and it now no longer has any Cherry Blossom shoe polishes at all, so it may have been an individual store clearance that has now cleared them out.

The final one that might have been store specific is the Pirate party products at 18p. I doubt that they really are 18p anywhere else.

Yet many products that have RTC labels are also found elsewhere. And, although one of the Birds Eye Stir Your Senses products was found last time with a £1 RTC label but I then scanned in another store that showed £2 and found they were £2 (maybe this was on RTC but I have only been in a store that has had the label immediately after the RTC has been pulled and the label is now on incorrectly or has been left on the shelf because the store is now OOS but the product has gone back up again?), I did have Birds Eye Chicken Fingers 10 pack showing 50p RTC (no stock) in a store but that did scan at 50p in another store that had loads of stock (thanks no doubt to not having a SEL). So they are not store specific.

The branded red wine vinegar turns out to be full price now:(, whether or not the RTC label in the store last week was correct. I nearly thought the Singha alcohol cans had gone up to £4.86 but it turns out that they are a different one, as I part expected, and only lucky that I managed to have one store with the right version still left! Again, it seems six stores does pick items up in one. I had one very good store near the end fill most of the final pieces of the jigsaw for me - although I still have about a couple of items outstanding that I didn't find - I may well have them in another store on Wednesday, but many of the main ones that I really needed to have turned up at my almost last-gasp store having gone through quite a few stores no trace! But, then, I suppose that was to be expected as I was out 'in the sticks', picking smaller stores in between that I haven't been to before - not ideal to have smaller stores as it tends to leave a lot still outstanding to carry over but sometimes the location of the stores means I have to visit them in a particular order - can't go twenty miles up the road in order to come back 10 miles again back on myself, as that would be pointless as well as taking time to travel 20 miles (10 each way) - but I ended up with a City store that was very good indeed. So most of my outstanding items were finally found. The store still didn't have the offer items that I got in the other place last week that will still be on:rotfl:. Actually, one of those was in another store, so I 'know' they are still on, but it didn't have the full range so I didn't see all of them this time - but they will still be on!

I think the 47p cake decorations/Fruit Bowl products are going to be very haphazard now - I will remove them from APG and onto buy in M (if you can ever find them now!) as it seems this weekend has cleared a lot of the stock across M, although M did still have the Raspberry 4x16g product on Monday, that I found but then failed to find for two weeks, as I have now found stock marked from 47p to 9p store specific RTC shelf - and couldn't resist, I bought it at that 9p price thus probably taking my store OOS. So M have still had stock of them somewhere, as I expected.

I am still getting stores that have had some of the Signature Chutneys on 70p RTC (even though I think they were showing full price online). Two of those have now gone down even further it seems, to 50p RTC, although the Hot Chilli Jam is still 70p (that's been checked at the SS and it scanned at 70p - the SEL for that was unchanged in my store but I never know...). I think I have one missing that isn't in my stores and I've no clue as to whether that is now 50p or 70p:rotfl:.

There is some change on alcoholic drinks cans - some are now at better £3 price. It's also typical that some alcohol bottles have gone down to even better RTC price but it's probably the very moment at which they risk having disappeared from all the price collection stores. The Bacardi Fuego and Negra, I assume, have gone onto better RTC - but you'd be gambling as to which one (if any) they still had left in the collection stores and I only found one out of two in my stores now, that one in a single store, although I suspect the one I haven't found has gone to the same lower price. Bailey's Orange Truffle 1L is now £10 RTC in M.

There will be more added to the list later, including maybe another show of incompleteness from myself - in fact I might have been incomplete on another product range too, but anyway! - as I have another version that I didn't know existed of a product that I've only had one version of on my list for over a month:rotfl:. There are at least two 'flavours' it turns out! Both are totally and completely obvious to see in an M that I now checked and anyone using that store would doubtless have wondered why I only had one out of two on my list and didn't have both of them. That's if the one I've only just found is comparable from A - I need to check that:rotfl:. I've only just checked your store and found both versions - I've been visiting other stores that had only the one version before (and to be fair most stores, it seems, have nothing at all).

I'm also going to reveal another face cloth. I had one at 40p RTC that saw me cross off all the others that had gone to 50p. Well, I've now found one I didn't have at all that has gone to 35p:rotfl:. However, you will just get what you get in your store(s) - and if you have the 35p one, should have been getting that rather that my suggestion of the 40p one - I knew nothing about the 30p product as I have had it nowhere else before - but otherwise, if you don't have the 30p product - like all of my previous stores - then you may have the 40p one, but most stores may only have the 50p products anyway (that may have gone to £1 but I'm not bothering with those anymore as I've now found a 35p version to add to the list, whether or not you have it in your M).

I didn't expect to see some items today that, in fact, I did have and their offers still on - but others picked up from elsewhere last week had offers that were to be continuing - so those will remain on - good job I went to the right stores last week to find out the offer had started again as those items aren't available in my nearest stores now:rotfl:. Temporarily, as referred to above, I don't have some items that will remain on from last week as offer end dates were into October, and I now have items that have gone on offer only on Monday in the Ms I've checked on that date that aren't in the stores where I had the other items earlier:rotfl:. So, I'm doing well, visiting the 'right' stores to pick up items just as they go on offer to then know about when I visit the other stores, that don't have them, in which items have now started on offer that are not in the stores where I found the other items starting on offer last week:rotfl::rotfl:. (It's not planned - it's just how it has turned out:T. Of course I can't usually be in several regions at once, unlike the APG.)

I saw some of the Aero Mousse 8 packs were available and on £1 in A the other day. It's typical that I can't now find them in M for possible 10% and it seems that they were bought in specially in M and the stock has now gone as beyond its use by, although maybe someone does have some new stock in their M - I don't want ever to say M does not have something as someone could just go straight to their M and find it and show me up again for knowing nowt about it. However, as they are not on a.com (but maybe that's just my a.com and someone somewhere else in the country has them on there? - although I think not), there seems no chance of them appearing on the APG anyway so, it seems, just buy in A if they are still £1 there is a possibility - they are probably not in M currently (although I don't want to risk someone showing me up on this:rotfl:).

That's it for now - see you later:wave:.

Oh - I ought to mention that M have taken the opportunity to put up the price of some of their Savers products - including Cornflakes (from 26p to 38p:() - so put SP Cornflakes on a shop if trying to beat the price collection update and shop very early indeed - Long Grain Rice:(, Rice Pudding tin:(, Tea Bags:( (now 50p:eek:), Curry Sauce tin:(, Pasta Sauce tin:( and the jars of jam have both gone up by a penny too! Plus anything else I've forgotten about. Some other items are fortunately at same prices but I'm not liking the rice pudding going up in M as I've previously used that as a 'filler'. There are items still on - but I don't want to draw attention to them in case M HQ are watching this thread and deciding what to put up in price next.

I think what I've mentioned are the ones that have increased, but I might not have remembered them all so there could be the odd one more that I'll come across again in the details I have.

Some of the Christmas items (or items associated with Christmas anyway) that are still currently on the M list as they were still in at least one M recently showing their post-(last) Christmas RTC prices, for example the Berggold Jellies, have now appeared in stores more generally and of course have now doubled in price:(.

However, at least I can remove some items from the list - and I also doubt you will be able to find Cadbury's Santa Selection on RTC prices anymore:rotfl:.

So, with it now being the run-up to Christmas, I should be removing all Christmas items from the list as people should now cease buying them entirely and start again only after Christmas!:rotfl::money: Be unseasonal. You need to buy at the opposite time to most people and do everything the opposite to them, as I've said before, in order to save more money. It's absolutely fine - I've still got Hallowe'en themed sweets (probably shouldn't have bought any at all as I'm an adult not a child any more:rotfl:) bought after Hallowe'en last year, at cheap prices, that are still BB the end of the next month. So, good for Hallowe'en itself then! Although, to be fair, they are now in the queue to be consumed within the next month or so, so will probably go before then.

If you have Bird's Rum Sauce in your M and need it for this Christmas, I suggest it be bought as soon as possible rather than the product to make an appearance across M in general and to have 'started off', for this year, at doubtless much higher price again! I hope it is still 17p today - I have not seen it on Monday and it was not one of my essential items to do so. Or, otherwise, if you don't have it in your M (I have had it in one store out of about 37 now in the past week so maybe that gives an idea as to your chances), you will have to do without and buy after this Christmas, being organised, in time for the one after this. I think not go for 50p RTCs immediately after Christmas either - but allow it to fall lower (although then it will then be left in fewer stores and sadly has to be played off against the risk of losing it from your store altogether).
  • Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and have a fabulous Tuesday.

    Happy shopping.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

I started to paint Dd bedroom yesterday as we are moving in there. The road our house is on has got so busy over the years we have lived there, her room is at the back and lovely and peaceful overlooking the garden.i was hoping for nice new curtains from hb but I've now received my full refund so I'll have to go and buy my own.
