    Meant to say, I have had to net my gooseberries this year, found a pigeon sitting in the bush having a go at them :eek: I have never had to do that before!

    Spent a fabulous afternoon at a friends house who lives on the route of the National Road race in Teesside. The sun shone all afternoon until almost the end when the heavens opened. At the next village I intended to take photographs of the scarecrows made by children at the local school but rain stopped play:o

    But guessing almost everyone slowed down for the traffic cop scarecrow.:eek:


    Despite watching a full 12 laps I didn't see Cavendish but exercised my lungs to full capacity for a local young rider:T
    At least the rain will have washed his name off the road:whistle:

    We've been checking the contents of the wine rack ready for next weekend - we like to match the nationality of the wine to the event :D Unfortunately not much French in stock, other than champagne :eek: :rotfl:
