Afternoon
Miserable day hereForecast to rain all day so have just had a morning at home. DH working so just 3 of us. Thought I'd have a nice bath but both boys came in, stripped off and got in :rotfl: First time in ages and pretty sure it'll be the last. It was a bit snug
Got 2 lots of homework done - the little one was very eager, bless him, but don't expect it to last!
A SD order of a few shower gels arrived. Smell lovely and not bad for 49p each delivered.
Going to Pizza Express for tea tonight so changed some CC vouchers. My Sis has got a new job after working for the last 2 and a half years as our nanny. Paid my after school club fees for this month and it is £569 cheaper :eek::T:T:T So we're all going out for a 'leaving' meal.
Lovely tapestries snap, MKS and bargainqueen
Congratulations Di :T
Hope you're ok CJJ x

He has only been down south since early August so he really is just working his way around - to mis quote L P Hartley
The south is a foreign country; they do things differently there
His work has sent him up to London twice and on both weeks he had to go up for 3 days in a row going via Victoria and then across London via various tubes to wherever he needs to be. I've given him the transport for London link and his sister has shown him the app to use but even so he gets hopelessly lost each time - he must just get on whatever tube train is in front of him at the time.
This is the same son who was out in the far east for nearly a year and travelled all over the place ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. I am beginning to wonder about the potential of these Up and Go as aids to weight loss.
Tried the vanilla this morning, chilled it first. Tastes nicer than strawberry but it still has a very emulsified and artificial texture. I had half (125ml) at 8-ish and the other half at 11.30 ish. Problem is, it's now nearly 5 and apart from a digestive biscuit I've had nothing else and am still not hungry.
Wondering if anyone else is having similar outcomes?
Mhoc, I know I couldn't cope with London now except as a tourist, the idea of having to get anywhere on time would be overwhelming.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

Yes exactly, I can get myself from Euston to St P and Kings Cross and that is the extent of my knowledge of London but the entire tube system leaves me gasping like a beached fish. We have been up a few times to see eldest child as she works in London and she guides us through the system and we can then just about cope :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
