But to be fair, I dont like this company, had a lot of trouble with them overcharging me in the past for a lemon tree.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Afternoon all - what a horrible day outside. Nipped to Ts Exp as ran out of cat food to find that Ts Meaty Selection 12 pouches RTC £1 46.
Barcode 3697 - might be worth checking out if you have a feline friend.
Great news Di - looks as though we need to put the cross stitch away and get our knitting needles out. :rotfl:
Roll on the warmer weather forecast - could reach 30 next week

please can I ask if there is an expert on the Dartford tunnel on the Elite?
Errant son got a charge letter this morning which seemed to be for £70  so I scanned the letter for him and messaged him.
His car was on camera from last Friday night when he decided to come home on a whim
I did the minimal of research which seemed to say if you paid within 14 days it went down to £35.
a bit later errant son sent me a screen shot of his invoice sheet which only showed a payment of £2.50 which worried me as I though he had just paid the normal charge and not the fine.
but he voice messaged me to say he rung them up and this time he only has to pay the £2.50, next time it will be £35.
He says he will never go this way again anyway and in December he will do the other route he originally used
does this sound correct - that they would drop the fine this time so he only had to pay the normal charge and could he have rung this morning?
he said that he only used the lower level last Friday night whatever that means but I assume there are warning signs about the charge on the approach roads?
up here in the north we don't have anything like this to content with, only the Birmingham toll road as you go south along the M6 but it's very clearly sign posted that you are being taken off the normal M6 and onto the toll bit
I did warn errant son about the unexpected expenses that come up with no warning, the sort of stuff you can never plan for but could potentially wreck your budget he just dismissed this as nonsense - mum was right again.
at least £2.50 is not too bad and another life lesson learnt“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

thanks for the heads up on the cat food, it's something constantly on my shopping list.
Mr !!!!!! has spirits on offer 2 for £20 and I want to get the Gordon's sloe gin and Gordon's elderflower gin as I've got a conditional spend for a £20 spendI suspect our small Mr T won't sell these so I am going to ring them to check - I really don't want to have to go all the way up to the bigger Mr T

yes its correct if its his first offence.we have just had a massive run in with them but won thank goodness.:)there are signs in the run up to the crossing and you can pay in advance which is what we had done.we only go that way once a year to go on holiday but it turned into admin nightmare.0
