I have generally not taken any notice of the HE posts, since I dont fly.
But just booked another cruise this morning, and fancy going down the night before. I have looked, and there is a Holiday Inn (West) listed. It is £96 on HE and £86.40 on the Holiday Inn website. So far looking good. When booking with HE, I can not see the option of paying the extra so that I can cancel, where abouts is this option please?
Edit: Found it. They have the same hotel for £119 and with that one it is possible to pay the extra to cancel. I am more confused about this now, as how come the same hotel is even more?

Do these 2 look like they compare please?
I did my first HE claim a few days ago - I didn't really understand the cancellation options so I didn't bother with that. The price difference was only about £4 and I wanted that deal anyway. I decided (perhaps wrongly) that, if they rejected my claim, I'd have all the bother of cancelling and rebooking with the cheaper site - and there was the chance that their prices might have gone up. It just didn't seem worth the extra hassle.ELITE 5:2

I phoned them up - they took all my details, said it looked as though it would qualify but that they had to send it over to whatever team checks the claims and I would hear back within 48 hours. I got a positive reply the following day.ELITE 5:2

Making sure the lines above don't run.
Cement the outer ones first then fill in the middle in the middle with whatever pattern you choose.
Looking at the wood it looks like you've done your homework on how to lay them but just in case, you know to leave the middle ones slightly proud then fill with kiln dried sand then use a wakker plate to compress them in to the base ?
And are you using sharp sand to lay them on ?0 -

Well since they somehow took £1 off the price of the first hotel I booked, I booked the other hotel as well, and have called them up. They said the free team were not in until Monday, but they would get back to me, so fingers crossed.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Afternoon folks.
Had a lovely morning with a friend, a walk with a coffee stop half way. I had told her I had had my cut since we last saw each other, not sure what she was expecting but think she got a bit of a shockWeather turned out well considering it was raining first thing.
