Hi Marmite, no SELs showing offer in local store this morning either, but offer went through fine.

thanks for this. I got 2 from the O2 priority offer last weekend so I think I will put them out for immediate usage rather than putting them in the stash draw. I have enough hand cream to last forever.

this discussion about things going off is worrying. Eons ago there was an offer, buy a Boots botanics item and get a body cream free so you could buy the body scrubber mitts and get a massive body moisturiser glass jar for free (so long ago but I think that is how it worked)
I have a life time supply of mitts and I still have numerous glass jars. I am wondering about the contents of these jars now ...

I've found S&G stuff goes off quick once opened like others we have had quite a few of the hand creams go runny and off half used in this house :(. Especially the mini ones as for quite a few years I got the girls travel sets for Xmas.

When I had to clear bedroom to get floorboards up I gave a set of hand cream and foot cream to another elite friend that had been under the bed as knew I'm not going to get round to using it, must have been around 4 years old but unopened. I gave her strict instructions to throw away if gone off. I will ask her how she got on and let you know mhoc. I'm not sure if it goes off because air gets in once opened.

Bodyshop on other hand I have had stuff go past it's best unopened but you know me I still use it! I still occasionally use a body lotion that is way runnier than when I first bought it but it still smells ok and doesn't irritate my skin it has to be nearly 10 years old a pump action one so still sort of sealed. I have had to throw away opened body butters as they smelt awful.

I stopped gifting anything BS once it got to 3 years old lol, hope I didn't give anyone anything bad. :o. So I still have a few body butters as I no longer have my mum to rely on to eat them up. ;)
