Good morning ..feeling refreshed after a good nights sleep ;)so second day in the garden for me ...a quick question please has anyone a rough idea what the cost should be to prune a very large Magnolia tree ?Nannylala is getting too old and the tree is too big now to keep trimming it myself ....
Nanny please don't take this wrong way but not sure if this link will eventually point you in direction of a few trusted tradesman to get quotes.

There may be a more localised charity to you that does similar like the one Mr TS works for down here that keeps a list of trusted and vetted tradesmen. I would worry about advertising for the work to be done you never know who would be knocking.. Unless you already have someone in mind and just not sure how much job should be...

Or there is checkatrade.com where you can also read others reviews. I think it's garden services you need to search for

Good morning everyone.
Weather looks miserable again today.0 -
I doubt my co-op will have any, they have very minimal in the freezers as it is. Ongoing problems with their air conditioning, tiles missing from ceiling and ducting to mobile units in the store.
TS there is a map on 10 Ways FB page showing which shops have stocksI, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Sorry I don't know as I do t have that offer available to me.
Just visited on a different device (not logged in) and still 10% off when buying 2 C4rling and £2 when you buy bananas - perhaps it is regional offers going off the IP address?

Thank you for reply, I have the carling one as well and the bananas saying expired. I completely forgot about this app till it was mentioned last night.:)0 -

I didn't realise the offers on klip em ??? changed daily
I'm not sure if they do change daily, they call the today's offers which would infer... but I just checked and I have the same offers as yesterday and there are dates that they run out i.e. 7/9/16 indicating they will be on until then xwe only had a month to get eldest child ready for uni as she got in through clearing. OH insisted that we took her up to her shared house the week before but that we did not stay over -
York and back in one day!
The parting was desperate and we both cried on and off for most of the 2.5 hours driving home. Mostly though it was Tears of Dread because as we expected 2 or 3 times every month for the next 4 years there was some sort of crisis to sort out and we dreaded the phone going, always some sort of disaster to figure out
but we got through and out the other side and now she is a totally different person altogether and we love her to bits
Bless you, I do think parents should have counselling when their babies leave home. She is likely to thrive in York, it is a wonderful city, with a fab uni which is very supportive.... my niece did really well there... with the exception of spending all her student loan within the first few weeks as the shops are wonderful! When she realised what she had done she rang everyone in the family except parents for financial support... her dad went mad when he realised. He took control of her money, paid the bills, took her food shopping once a month, and gave her an allowance... she did really well on this (as we were all subbing her!.... her dad still does not know!!).Thank you for your answers ..am nervous about have a random door knocker as they are usually travelers :Aand this tree is very special to me as late DH bought it for me 25 years ago and it was all of 3 feet talll ..now it has got to be 25 - 30 feet tall
Nanny, do any of your friends have gardeners that you could borrow for a while? Or a proper tree surgeon. Given the size of the tree, you will need someone who knows what they are doing x100 -
