Good morning ..feeling refreshed after a good nights sleep ;)so second day in the garden for me ...a quick question please has anyone a rough idea what the cost should be to prune a very large Magnolia tree ?Nannylala is getting too old and the tree is too big now to keep trimming it myself ....

    How large is the tree?

If you were able to offer branch by branch direction you could use the random people that knock on doors, unless the tree needs an expert.

When you find someone make sure the quote includes disposing of the cuttings.

Nanny....you could put a request on your local Streetlife.com ....on streetlife you will probably find handymen/gardeners who do this type of work 'on the side', so maybe cheaper than a company? Especially if you can direct them as to which branches you want cutting, then you get the job done exactly as you wanted it.

Oh bless....it pulls at your heartstrings doesn't it. I remember waving as we went round the corner and watching her cry.....and a tearful phone call the next day and then she didn't look back thank goodness.
    So hard:o

we only had a month to get eldest child ready for uni as she got in through clearing. OH insisted that we took her up to her shared house the week before but that we did not stay over -
York and back in one day!
The parting was desperate and we both cried on and off for most of the 2.5 hours driving home. Mostly though it was Tears of Dread because as we expected 2 or 3 times every month for the next 4 years there was some sort of crisis to sort out and we dreaded the phone going, always some sort of disaster to figure out

but we got through and out the other side and now she is a totally different person altogether and we love her to bits

Regarding klipem, is it any four pack of toilet paper from any supermarket, please? Also can you get the app on smartphone, Google play doesn't come up with it when I search? Thank you.

Ooh I see a square inch of blue sky, hope it expands:)

Sorry I don't know as I do t have that offer available to me.

Just visited on a different device (not logged in) and still 10% off when buying 2 C4rling and £2 when you buy bananas - perhaps it is regional offers going off the IP address?

  • OK, quick question.

Am I the only one on here having an issue with my Facebook version of Candy Crush keeping up with my Android version? I will pass a level on Android, go to FB and it is still on the previous level! If I pass a level on FB and go to Android I am on the right level! It is a little strange!

Morning all! Just catching up as MIL has been visiting this weekend. Could someone please confirm how much the Mail on Sunday is? I'm not sure whether it's worthwhile getting 'a few' for the HOF voucher or not.
