For the allotmenters - I found a Facebook group called "allotment life" which appears to be a mine of information

You might be a tad late. Got £150+ of plants & compost last Saturday for £13 + 75p on their club card. Not much left in ours when I nipped in yesterday. Hope you have better luck.
