    I would be sacked!

    The quote of the day in the office I was in today was:

    'I was late getting to a first date, so he was drunk when i got there, we went to Tesco to get some booze and was going back to mine, when we were looking at the booze (in T) he got his p**** out'

    I was like :eek::eek::eek: you should not be taking people back to your house on the first date...

    The most shocking part is that she went on another 2 dates with him before she realised that he was a no go.... I was crying with laughter.

    Come and work with me x

    No it wasn't. She didn't say "pee asterisk asterisk asterisk asterisk", she said "penis". So the quote is not accurate:p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

    Dear me, it's when people post untruthful information - that really gets to me:rotfl:!

    Although - Savvy now continues for hours - just skip;) - I don't know that she didn't say "pee asterisk asterisk asterisk asterisk" as I wasn't there - but I'm making the, presumably highly likely to be right, assumption but, if not, solely because of the confusion that's now created about whether she said the letter and asterisks or whether she said "penis", I am obliged therefore to seek clarification:o:o(:rotfl:) - was it "p****" or was it "penis"? This would never have arisen in the first place if the accurate quote had been used (or what I assume to be but which is now in 0.1% doubt causing me to ask!:rotfl:).

    No reply is needed! (I'll keep my assumption unless I'm corrected to the contrary:cool:.)

    She said a word beginning with C.. but I was trying to be a lady.

    Dating has surely changed since I last dated (30 years ago). I told the ladies that in my day there were girls you had fun with and girls you could take home... whilst a girl could be both... they should never be with the same man!!

    When I told them you should not have sex until you love someone and at definitely not within the first 6 months of meeting... they all laughed at me... one girl told me that she just realised that she never knew me!

    "It's only twenty-five to eleven and we haven't the slightest clue" says David Dimbleby (unless you're watching your regional/nation's news on BBC ONE).

    :rotfl::rotfl:Neither have I. (Story of my life.):rotfl:

    Ohhh!:idea::idea:

    So - you've even changed the quote without telling us!
    Even more untruthful:rotfl:.

    (As well as misleading me into thinking something else. Well... I won't ask what the word beginning with "C" was:o:D:rotfl: - obviously it's not that one. In fact - I agree - I don't think the original quote should have been given at all - presumably because this forum doesn't allow it - but why does the replacement by something else, that's then clearly still been considered inappropriate because it's asterisked, make it any different?) Let's move on. Next...!:cool::cool::rotfl::rotfl::A

    Thanks - at least I've caused someone amusement. I'll go now - I've got an "equivalent-to-Election-night"* to watch (and you know I like those... until they come out with a result that I didn't want:rotfl:). We just don't know:rotfl::wave::wave:. Back later (probably!).:) At least I've put the thread into utter confusion and turmoil once again, so job done:D:D:rotfl: (unintentionally). Bye now!:)

    *EDIT: Maybe it's not "equivalent to Election night" - it's, arguably, more important:think: (rather than merely being "equivalent"). But that's me getting into considering matters from all angles again, and picking on a single word that I myself now used, and will go and on and on unless I stop! So, see you! (It wasn't the gist of my point anyway, so I've now lost that:rotfl:.) I think just read the main post and ignore this footnote, which is just confusing things and now longer than the "main" part of the post itself:rotfl::cool::wave:.

    Thanks Scamps for the Bulmers competition.....4 of us are going out to eat free tomorrow night....I have booked the table, and with the reservation confirmation, they have sent a complimentary drink voucher.....just need to check which drink is the most expensive.:money:

    Just used this together but the drink voucher has a condition that you must purchase a main meal so if you are all using Bulmers meal vouchers I doubt you will be aloowed to use it.
