    not sure if this is old news (I have been away);
old guy down the market who likes a good gossip said........
Morrisons can't afford the home deliveries any more, so are putting them out to tender
Asda have been really struggling for the last 3 months and are being shored up by Wallmart, who are not happy
many Jack Fultons stores have been bought by Farm Foods
a lot of CoOp stores are being sold off

I have nothing to back any of this up, but wonder sometimes if eventually we will have no choice in where we shop, and therefore no chance of playing one shop off against another.

It can't really be ALL our fault can it??? x

I was taking the tape off a parcel earlier today and my hand slipped and caught my nail.

I'd actually managed to bend the whole nail back 90 degrees

Thankfully it's still intact but OMG

    Congratulations to you all :T:T:T

Must be nice to be so lucky in love.

If I started Day One of thirty years today, I would be 92 when I got there... :rotfl:

But I just haven't met him yet... :(

    Afternoon all
Woken from my between nights sleep by thunder and remembered a deal I meant to post last night...
Bon marche currently has a sale on and free standard delivery. They're is also a code for £10 off when you spend £15. It was on a header on the website on the night but appears to have disappeared. I've just checked though and is still working. It is the 3rd code down on this website...

  • Rhos I hope you are feeling better now you've received your transfusion. It is something I am definitely going to do in the future. I think when I enquired at the chemo department it is after five years I can start donating
    Rhosy,

that is terrible news, hope you are okay x

It does highlight the need for blood donors, if anyone was considering being a donor it is really easy. DS3 started when he was 15, and now they all go... they refused my blood!
Ssm were all your children so young because by law they are supposed to be 17
