Thank you both Sorry to post and run but ds2 does his puppy dog eyes and manages to whisk the laptop off me. Can't get him to sleep at the minute either...is normally 12am - 1am before he drops off :eek: Am booked in for a sleep workshop to get some advice on helping asd kids to sleep better but I can see melatonin beckoning as we've tried everything but he can't seem to switch off at night.

Weather is turning a bit here, hope you lot are enjoying some sunshine

Phew its hot isn't it, Ive had curtains closed to keep sun out and its worked a treat. I'll open them up later when the sun has moved on.

Ive been outside wilting keeping dh company whilst he is removing a dead shrub :eek: don't know whats caused it to die back but it has, such a shame as its well over 20 years old :cool:

Problems with messenger today, it was working this morning first thing but its gone off :mad:

DH wants a full roast today :eek: as we didn't have a Sunday roast on Sunday :mad: for heavens sake he's been out there working in this heat and wants a full roast. He's cooking it so I cant say too much to him :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

bubbs Ive told him that Ill just have chicken and a few veg, that will do me. My late father was the same though, rain, hail or shine he wanted a 'gravy dinner' every day of the week :eek:. He would never suffer a salad or cold cuts with delicious cooked ham and sweetcorn with garden peas, that's my idea of a summer dinner

I'm off my food somewhat, be it the heat or summat else I just don't have the urge to eat. I'm drinking plenty of water glug, glug, glug :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We dont have proper dinners here in this heat even with all doors , windows open and fans on too hot for oven on:eek:

I'm a Cordless Dyson fan too, I've got the V6. So easy to use and as I have heavy duty vinyl throughout, it picks up the dog hair just fine for me. My back just isn't up to an upright vacuum these days
