I would love one of those if I had a good excuse. My 16 year old Dyson DC04 is still going strong, and I got a vax cyclinder vac when they were a silly price in T some years ago.

That made me think back to when I got my Dyson - it's at least 10 yrs old. Came from Amazon as it was on some deal including free delivery, iirc.

New dyson uprights are not as good as the old ones, too light they fall over when doing the stairs

Sorry I am on the list of Henry's are crap .....

    Someone start a list :)

    I love a DYSON CORLESS :)

So much freedom and so easy to use
Love mine too, it was a bit of an indulgence at the time, but I wouldn't be without one now. I still get the big brute Dyson out to 'deep clean' - my old dyson is a bit like trigger's broom (had the same one for 20 years it's had 6 new heads and 5 new handles).
We have a very reasonable & good repair man locally who replaces bits of it when needed, although that is not very often. Must have had it 15 years and it was second hand when we got it, but if the carpets weren't nailed down it would vacuum them up too.
