Good morning.diluvsdiscounts wrote: »Can I give you some advice DON'T DO IT!!! I always thought I wanted a Henry oh how wrong was I.
The first day he was delivered I was so excited, I put him all together and off we went. Well to start with he gets stuck on every corner and if he can't get around it, doorway or bed for example he has a paddy and throws himself on his side. He has no sentiment about your belongings or ornaments , we had many losses due to Henry including two what I thought were wooden ducks until Henry attacked them and they're heads smashed off! He also has a bad habit of dragging himself along the skirting boards and on the stairs were you hoover using his nose(pipe) all the paintwork has black Henry marks. I have managed to get rid of them using one of those Mr Muscle eraser block things.
But the creepiest and most annoying thing about Henry is that the whole time whatever bad thing it is he has done he never shows any remorse he grins that bl@@dy grin the whole time.
Henry is like chucky from childs play, don't do it.
If you chose to ignore this friendly advice I can say only one thing........don't say I didn't warn you :eek:
:rotfl::rotfl:
I love this di, I was going to say are you sure, they are so heavy, fall over, damage the skirting boards, heavy on the stairs and awkward and so hard on the carpets it's like you done full gym workout.
How was your first day at work.0 -

Morning luvlies
Di, glad you got on well with your return to work, must be nice to get back and see all your work friends.
I must look into Waitrose offers. DH both have a card and I've chosen my picks ages ago which I could change. Don't have one that near me but would be worth travelling too for the chicken etc. Noticed there are some home delivery discount codes floating about so may do that instead,
Found the Mirror page on supermarket offers which may be helpful to some peeps.

Henry is up there with all the four letter swear words in our house, I used to swear at him constantly whilst hoovering. In fact as sad as this now sounds it was the first thing I did after my diagnosis I can remember saying I'm getting rid of Henry I'm not wasting anymore of my life on him :rotfl:
Work was fine, thank goodness it's an air conditioned shop so I didnt feel too cheated out of the sunshine. My friend called in to see me and spotted a very nice ring on her way out!!! So lots of oohing and ahing later and photographs to show her husband how gorgeous it looked on her I'm expecting to see her back in today. Once she had gone I did wonder if she had spotted it whilst I was off and was waiting for my return........a woman's mind is a devious one haha. It would have been a stonking sale on my first day back but maybe today :T0 -
Just noticed we should be getting free bread this week according to the Mirror
"For free food, online supermarket app CheckoutSmart is giving away a free loaf of Hovis Good Inside Thins at Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Waitrose this week"
Will keep checking my app:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -
