    Good morning everyone.

We had our cavity wall done, and our house get damp mouldy patches and condensation now, we never did before :(

We have a birthday bbq to attend today, and its pouring down with rain :(

My dds house is also worse for having the insulation done.
Check any boarding you have in loft as should be no more than about third of area and boards are best mounted up on brackets to allow air circulation. Water runs down dds walls in the winter:eek:
Going to have to lift attic boarding up. It is a rented house but can always put back when they leave.
Houses need to breath. Learnt a lot from buying a new build.

If it is an old house then could be that the bricks need repointing. Done that in the past too.

Today I feel very blessed to have such caring friends.

Got off my butt and ordered blinds for bedroom and new bed. Thrilled as one I wanted had extra £100 off this weekend and 9% tcb. Upgraded to sprung glats but going to assemble myself as cost is:eek: Soon my bedroom will be a spa like oasis:)

No real shopping as didn't need wine. Just a walk round M to check out the whoopsies.

    Evening peeps. :)

What a day! Managed to hobble out to catch a bus to A's. Got all my bits and pieces, went to pay, NO wallet.
Thinking I might have lost it, I hobbled back out and caught the bus home. All the thoughts of replacing cards etc went through my mind!
Got home and there it was on my lounge table. Phew!
Went back out to A's, As I really needed to get some dog food. When I came out I found 6 wombles. Having checked them, Total was £16,47. :D
If I hadn't gone back to A's I wouldn't have looked. Paid for all my shopping and bus fares. :T
