This has now been confirmed as working as a trigger, thanks to izzey b. You need to buy AvS though as it shows on the apg and is dearer in the other shops. Look on msm for some comparisons. Having a quick look there are some pom bears, burtons chick n chips and jacobs cracker crisps.

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

  • Had text from talk mobile today, apparently they are retiring my £1 a month contract and moving me onto a £5 one with 5000 texts, 100 minutes and 100 mb of data. How am I meant to send 5000 texts, I struggle to hit 50 :eek:

Just been looking on Amazon and I came across a CD album at £17.99. I was looking at another website in conjunction and it appears there were only 1000 copies ever made. Do you think I should buy it? It might be worth a lot more than that! Anyway, I have bought it - I've just taken the website OOS:D and it'll arrive in the post soon and I'll see what it is. I'll like it anyway, because it's the sort of music I like, so if it's near £18, then it's £18 - and what's £18 in the scheme of things? - otherwise it could be sold on for a lot more!

It reminds me now - I saw an album, quite a few years ago now, that was quite a rare album by the artist in question, an underground artist. I think probably quite a lot more than 1000 copies though (and of course there are albums that only have 100 copies or even fewer) - however I knew it was worth around £60. The seller had it online for a tenner. I was quite happy indeed to take it from them at £10 - and the thing is sellers don't always do their research! - so - again it's an album I like so any profit is actually theoretical as I wouldn't sell it:doh: - in effect I got a £60 album for £10 - but somewhere, upstairs, is an album bought for £10 that is probably worth £60 (or, maybe, even a little more now). Not sure if this is a money-making exercise - these things seem more like gambling to me:rotfl:. It's not something I do at all regularly - in fact I only had that album earlier because I was looking for it - then discovered it was £60:( but then found someone online selling it for £10:wall::):D:j:T:T.

Apart from that, I've never done this sort of thing before - until I just happened to search across two websites at once just now (one, the non-Amazon website, is a 'tracklisting' website and I was just trying to find out what was on the album and I discovered that it says there were only 1000 copies so, I think I'm happy to take it off the seller on Amazon for £18!:rotfl: Whether true or untrue - and I think I trust the site - I'll like the songs on it anyway and it's £18. It's not going to be worth thousands but it might be worth £100 or a bit more. There's some albums, like some copies of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, a very rare Japanese pressing that was printed upside-down and if you managed to get that it sold for £2495!).

It's not something that I've got into:rotfl::rotfl: - I know there's people that collect properly - and I mean the rare, mint condition things of albums to make money - and obviously know what they are looking for, but, there we are, just one of those things.

One of those things an idle Saturday afternoon spent searching can find:rotfl:.
