Does your library provide Zinio for magazines too?
Not sure, not really one for magazines. It was funny, I worked for 6 years in a newsagent, think I can say at one stage or another I have read every magazine (ones that don't make me blush anyway) and the only one I found vaguely interesting was Readers Digest, and then that went downhill.

Tomatos... There are different views on these, here is a quote from arthritis research uk
http://www.arthritisresearchuk.org/arthritis-information/arthritis-and-daily-life/diet-and-arthritis/should-i-avoid-certain-foods.aspx
Should I avoid certain foods?
Diet and arthritis
Some people feel that certain foods are bad for arthritis and that cutting them out helps. These foods include:
citrus fruits, such as oranges, lemons and grapefruit
vegetables from the nightshade family (solanaceous plants) including potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, chillies and aubergines.
We don’t recommend leaving these fruits and vegetables out of your diet because of the important nutrients they contain. There’s no scientific evidence that cutting out these foods can help with arthritis. In fact, they're rich in antioxidants – oranges and red peppers contain an antioxidant called β–cryptoxanthin which studies have shown may slow down the progression of arthritis.
But as always, do what is best for you.
Hope that you had a good time. :beer:0 -
Thanks savvybuyer for your post on farmfoods (especially the milk). You are right a lot of the unhealthy food is a good price in there but we must resist! I will continue to buy my milk from there as it is on my way home and I can also use my tsb contactles for 5pc cashback.
I see asda sales have taken a tumble. I don't mind that at all - more on the reduced counter! I just wish Asda would have more 'fresh fruit' on the whoopsie counter though. It is all in containers which usually tastes twangy even the day after purchased!0 -
