But true xwhat does anyone know about Stowmarket?

It is in Suffolk....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I had to google it!you need to do a spending diary to keep track of your daily spends - it could be just a note book but an excel chart is easier.
I did one earlier this year and it takes at least 4 months to see patterns - this allows for holidays, bank holidays, weekends away, birthday weekends, visitors staying for weekends, glitch shopping, twine shops etc
I put the categories across the top line and the months dates down the side. the categories I used
food
cat/bird food
drink (alchol)
house/garden
misc (chocs, sweets, crisps)
stamps
petrol/parking
days out
eating out
clothing
the last 3 where the ones I had to spend as little as possible on
it was quite a revelation to see the true figures of what we spend
Holly hell......that is so organised.......... I just put £100 in my purse and only bought what we really need!
Just thinking about this
food (out of the £100)
cat/bird food - n/a
drink (alchol) - drink what is in the cupboard or water
house/garden - not buying anything unless free
misc (chocs, sweets, crisps) - not buying anything unless free
stamps - e-mail
petrol/parking - bill work
days out - walks
eating out - picnics
clothing - wear what is in the wardrobe!100 -
