a friend if a friend is going to be working there for 6 months“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

After bills I would have almost £1000 left to spend but I'm scrabbling around at the end of the month and could only track about £750 last month. Need to pull my socks up and sort myself out
you need to do a spending diary to keep track of your daily spends - it could be just a note book but an excel chart is easier.
I did one earlier this year and it takes at least 4 months to see patterns - this allows for holidays, bank holidays, weekends away, birthday weekends, visitors staying for weekends, glitch shopping, twine shops etc
I put the categories across the top line and the months dates down the side. the categories I used
food
cat/bird food
drink (alchol)
house/garden
misc (chocs, sweets, crisps)
stamps
petrol/parking
days out
eating out
clothing
the last 3 where the ones I had to spend as little as possible on
it was quite a revelation to see the true figures of what we spend“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

It is still on, might give this a try tomorrow if I get the time to go shopping, would bring the APG down if mixed with 3 blue top fizz.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
