Silly technical question alert.
Our PC is getting a bit old and creaky. As I use it for work I thought it would be as well to have a plan B so have dug out an old netbook to have in reserve. It's a bit slow but works fine - except it won't recognise Google and keeps saying page not found. Grateful for any (sensible) suggestions
it is connected to the Internet and I can get to things by typing in the bar where the url goes, just no Google.

Soz for sort of semi absence - I've been lurking the last couple of days. Apologies for missing birthdays, anniversaries and celebrations in general
On Friday my mum had the "your scan is abnormal" phone call. She had a ct scan of her head. Today she spent all day at the hospital and after lots of tests and an mri scan, she's been confirmed with an arachnoid cyst. It's not life threatening but will require surgery at some point in the very near future.
I am amazed at how quickly the NHS have dealt with this. Hospital got involved late on Friday afternoon, appointment today to have some neurological tests, mri scan and results on the same day :T far quicker than I could have arranged privately.
So lots going on at the mo but I will try and be around a bit more now we know what's going onTrulyMadly wrote: »

Scamps I'll be honest and say not so much, I did do the cleaning up and full inventory of all their belongs so they could put their hands on any item at a seconds notice but I like to think I trained them to a certain extent and they wouldn't of made it to the end if August if they acted like that :rotfl:

Morning
New KTC offer 3 for £1.00 (38p or 45p a can) which hasn’t updated as yet and should compare to Morries and give small APG.

Offer in Morries 3 for £1.00 (not chopped or plum tomatoes)

It may be worth rechecking before shopping, as things seem to be updating a little later.
Hi, I'm back from M (at last!:D). It'll take me a while tonight to sort out the results. I'm just trying to catch up! Why not chopped or plum tomatoes - I thought M has those? (I'll need to have a stare at the ones showing for A, on msm as that's easiest, and try to think what M have.... of course I have no details from today as M's price wasn't in my collection:rotfl:!)
Is there anything else glitching including maybe some Pringles? (I hope not as I've been out all day and it's been a long day:rotfl:).0 -

If it doesn't find google.co.uk then perhaps the browser needs updating? Or try a different browser? I have Chrome and Firefox on my PC as well as Internet Explorer. (I'm presuming you are not running Windows 10.)
Oh, if you are running Windows XP, it's not very safe as they don't support it any more and it's a security risk.0 -

I thought you hadn't been around much QoC and assumed the allotment was taking up your spare time.
You must have been worried sick. Pleased to hear she was quickly seen to. Same day results sounds the way forward...in an ideal world it should always be like thisTo do is to be. Rousseau
