But actually Miss C.....you did attend the wedding which is probably more than a lot of people do so in turning up presumably at your expense that was gift enough......

Thats how I see that one anyway....
I think you edited your post to add some details which gave a reason for not giving a gift.

As the offer for 12 is in M you want the APG machine to pick it up though, i'd have thought (putting aside it historically hardly ever picks that offer up).

Yes we would want it to and it would be great if it did - I was merely reminding everyone that it hasn't previously :).

That said, to correct one error I made above, obviously it would have to be 12 for £X in A for my comment about breaking the apg to be any use :o.

oops I'm sorry...I forgot to say good morning....so I guess it's now good afternoon from me.....

my Twine mystery's arrived this morning...the white is better than the rose but no surprise there...

nothing particularly startling in either box the whites were between £5- 8 a bottle with 2 Domaine des Bosquets which look to be a little more so presumably are the stars of the box.

The rose was a 3 x 4 bottles 3 being the blossom hill light fruit infusion stuff at something like £3.85 a bottle and 3 being Manon at £9 a bottle...

Overall about £150 worth on the 2 cases and a few experiences to try....certainly not all things I would have naturally picked ...but nothing we wont drink at some point

I went to SIL wedding with nothing haha

ETA I'm not tight but she got married in Rhodes so her wedding cost me almost £3k. So I told her she wasn't having a present. TBH it still narks me off. I wouldn't spend that on my own wedding and she occasionally mentions how cheap her wedding was etc. Well she's was a DINKY so could afford it

    :o Whats a DINKY please?

    Tenth Anniversary
Good afternoon back to reality:eek:, had some visitors for the weekend so my jaw is sore with laughing, love my family:), snap I know the no presents thing is very popular especially when we get older and have everything we need but sometimes people want to give so you could have a giving box collection for a cause that your parents support, nice way to mark their long time together by donating to charity :)

Mine arrived too, reds. I typed up a list of what was in them, but when I came to post them, the site said I didnt have enough 'tokens' to post?!?! Dunno what that was all about.

Anyway, one box pretty standard, okay value. The second box have a cheeky bottle of white in (sure I can give that away to someone, as I wont drink it) and a nice £30 bottle which will be getting opened on the next bank holiday weekend with Sunday lunch, so second box was well worth £40.
