What a bargain....could you not have mentioned it before I left the house for T:rotfl:

Situation changed a little with my dispute. Decking man came round this evening. Basically whole thing is appalling and needs doing again from scratch. Everything from incorrect distance between joists (they are a metre apart so no wonder planks are bending, should be 600mm max) to wrong screws used (wood screws which will rust in the rain, should have used decking screws). Nothing really salvagable, looking at about £1600 to put it right.
Grass companies not coming til Monday, but obviously I only held back £700. Looks as if this is going to be heading to small claims court.0 -
Thanks OP six tins of Lynx for 68p:beer:0

It is! It's the same good price that I [Strike]bought[/Strike] should have bought at £1 for a pack of ten.:)
As for myself thinking of good prices - my "good" price on some Tunisian dates (200g) that I added to the M list earlier today at 50p:eek::eek::rotfl: - if you look at the (partially out of date) list now, where have they gone? They were soon overruled by Silician dates (same weight) at T at 3 for £1 (thanks Westie for that:)), so I've removed my poor value dates now:o:o. (I suspect they would have needed an M with a substantial world foods range, as opposed to the "expanded" range of one of my nearby Ms which just isn't good enough! Or, maybe, a store with a limited world foods range but just the Tunisian dates as part of it:rotfl:. Anyway - no more!) Silician dates on mbuy in T. I had the Golden Tree Pitted Dates block (250g) before as a better value to the 500g dates packs in A that have steadily increased in price in M - I've had problems finding those Golden Tree dates after they were put onto the list - you may have noticed as "Golden Tree dates in M are cheaper" slowly turned into "Golden Tree dates in M may be cheaper", to:ocover up my lack of knowledge through inability to find a store with them again:rotfl:.
However, apart from finding the Tunisian dates only on Saturday, only to be overruled by the Silician ones in T:T, I also found the Golden Trees dates block, at long last, and as far as I'm aware it has gone up to straight 97p so no good now - although I don't know if they really are that price - I had to go by the SEL - if there was an mbuy in M now, that isn't showing in the one store in which I have them. (Always now dodgy going by a single store, but, when I have the product in just one store, I can't really do more!) As far as I know, the 200g Tunisian dates in M are just on straight 50p price - no indication of any mbuy - it's T's mbuy of 3 for £1 that is trumping them as it's the same weight - but, maybe someone will find they are actually on mbuy in M?:rotfl: It wasn't stated in my single M for those so, as far as I'm aware they are not - and if they are, it's M's fault now for not making that fact clear (just had a 50p yellow label on them) and sending us to T believing that T at 3 for £1 is better (which it probably is - as I'm left thinking the dates in M are straight 50p). There is a bigger pack of Tunisian dates, that may be in your M, found in another M that didn't have the 200g - however this bigger pack are even worse price.
In short, Silician dates 200g in T on 50p and all-important 3 for £1 as, as far as I know, Tunisian dates 200g in M are just on straight 50p.0 -

Just remarked in passing to OH that I was meeting the girls outside Greggs at Central and he raised an eyebrow and said we would not pick up much passing trade stood there :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Hi everyone. :hello:
There may be a generic Amazon code that gives you £10 off beauty products with no minimum spend. I've just bought a £11 item for 99p delivered (Prime member).
Wonder if it works for other Amazon Prime members? Must be on a beauty product and sold by Amazon.
More information here:

EDIT: PM received from another HUKDer to say it worked for them - so looks like a goer. When The Fun Stops Stop0 -
