just found a good match up firstly on Livingsocial, don't forget TCB

3-Course British Dining & Wine for 2 or 4 @ Hatherton House, Stafford
£19 for a three-course British meal for two people with a glass of wine each, £36 for four people at Mercure South Stafford Hatherton House Hotel -

very good value for £19, 3 courses including a glass of wine and valid until October

and then I checked the Accor hotel website, don't forget TCB - register, go to book hotel and advanced search and put in MONDAY in the search box
this gives you cut price rooms for the following weekend. This hotel is £40 per night - Friday, Saturday and Sunday
the meal deal you can use on a Friday or a Sunday night but not Saturday

this hotel is not far off the M6 so it would be good as a stop over on a Friday night if you were heading north and need to break the journey up but actually its in quite a good place as a night before hotel if you are doing Drayton manor, Cadburys World, Alton Towers etc, huge numbers of things around this bit of Staffordshire/Shropshire/Cheshire.
Might be worth studying deal zippy for ideas.

OK its a 3 star hotel but it has a swimming pool and for £40 a night and a £19 dinner that's not too bad - no breakfast but Penkridge is a nice little town so there is bound to be a caf!.
Also Stafford is literally just down the road, beautiful little town with numerous festival weekends and plenty of eating places.

(my old stomping ground so I am a local expert :) )

I may be being a bit dim, but is this not a contradiction? I thought the whole point of Lucozade was as an energy drink? If it has Zero Calories, by definition it cannot have any energy properties, or am I missing something

How easy is the nutribullet to clean please emerald? I love the idea of having one, but if there's a lot of faff involved I know I won't use it once the novelty has worn off and it will become another dust gatherer.

It's very easy . A lot easier than my usual blender. It's mainly in three parts . The main bit with the plug attached , that does n t get dirty or if it does just wipe it with a tissue. No need to get it wet. The jug/cup obviously needs washing like any other cup and the third bit is metal with the cutters on that screws onto the jug/cup then turn upside down and attach to the main unit. That can be washed in hot water. :)

Hornetgirl the nitro bullet is so easy to clean. It blends in the cup you drink from if it's a smoothie so no extra washing up there. So all it is extra to wash is the blade base which you can literally just rinse. Hth xx
