Just for you LEJC :A
Just got to hope the soldered joint below the t junction where the builders pushed the baton up to is not leaking it's drying out on downstairs ceiling but still feels pretty wet on the lagging just below that joint. And I noticed a spot not near edge of ceiling that wasn't there yesterday. It does seem to have a smaller ring in the bigger one so fingers crossed it's just the drying out.
you will need to screw a piece of wood to the joist (top of pic) to support the floorboard when it goes back down0 -
Thats what I thought - but 2 different staff (including CS people) insisted I had to have 10 different BRANDED items and that any tesco brands would not work as part of the 10. But what do they know - they get a lot of stuff wrong.
That's about on a par with being told they don't do DTD anymore
I have even used a newspaper as one of the items, they themselves say 10 items, they don't say 10 branded items,What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
The gu's say no freezing and it's because the glass pots are not made to a freezing standard...having said that I've frozen things in them when they have been empty without a problem.
All to do do with food standards health and safety issues and the potential that the pots could crack when frozen and splinter the glass into the dessert.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Here's my Quorn shop from yesterday. Never tasted the stuff before but it's surprisingly okay. It has the consistency of chicken but slightly bland so I might have to make casseroles with it.

I hadn't found them when you posted.
I'm wondering if a day is long enough though, surely you would need to try varying stages of frozen, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month etc for a proper test.
Let us know how it goes before you have to clear up broken glass :whistle:0 -

Thanks zippy we did realise but I won't Mr TS will.He was hoping if plumber needed that board up too he would saw directly above joist so board would be half and half on it if you know what I mean. I did try to explain to plumber but don't think he understood what I was trying to say so I didn't interfere any more. If he had just opened airing cupboard door and sawn few inches over we probably wouldn't need the block. But you can't have a woman telling a man how do to his job can you.
