The Bisto (frozen) hotpots - minced beef and chicken - and cottage pie have disappeared for me from all the Ms I've seen. Check in yours - they've gone haven't they? I suspect that they went onto 77p RTC as per the price on two other Bistos I managed to catch on Monday in one of my stores - and I was lucky to see even that as I had nothing at all in my stores on Wednesday. They have obviously been very popular and I doubt people will stand little chance of them now (although you never know, someone may have luck - maybe find some at the back of the shelf, mixed in with Bistos that haven't gone onto RTC?). I do not see them comparing on the APG and I have no SELs for them anyway - and not even any evidence that they have ever gone onto this RTC price. However, they have vanished from the stores I've checked - and I have checked properly - six stores on Wednesday in addition to the three different ones on Monday. It just seems strange otherwise that they have vanished and I feel they must have gone onto the RTC price too. Nothing in any of my stores now though - best of luck!

I also have a frozen own label Chicken Tikka Masala on 74p RTC. I do not know if the price has similarly gone down on a couple of other Indian meals that have been RTC (£1.27:eek:) as I had nothing about them in any of the stores now. The Chicken Tikka Masala was £1.47, so prices may differ. Unfortunately, this seems to be both going up in price and down in price at the same time. M now, it seems, largely have a new-style version - new recipe - which is at full price:(. The 74p is on the older stock and you may have no luck with that as it seems to have sold out of many places at its previous RTC price. It's a similar situation on the Beef in Gravy - what I'm now calling "old-style" version is 93p RTC - and "new-style" (that has just come into M as far as I know), different BC as usual, is £1.11:(. I have SELs all over the place there, so I would not be surprised if the APG picked up £1.11. I have £1.11 in some stores, 93p in another, both prices (in relation to the different stock) in one and neither version at all in another store so no SELs there:rotfl:.

Although the packaging on both, in effect, says "M Beef in Gravy", the old-style product is Morrisons Beef in Gravy 210g whilst the new-style product is M Beef in Gravy 210g (according to the description on the SELs and of course this interests no-one except myself:rotfl:). But I'm going to call the old version, pedantically, "Morrisons Beef in Gravy 210g" going by the exact wording on the SEL and I'm going to move that to 'buy in M' as I don't see it working on the APG. Meanwhile, I'm not bothering with M Beef in Gravy 210g:rotfl:. I suspect they don't even consider that their SELs might be read in this way!

Of course I ought to spend hours going back (and revisiting numerous stores) to alter M products to Morrisons on the list and vice versa depending on what SELs said. I've generally been putting "M" when I'm putting an item from my own information onto the list, when it is not on msm, and, when an item is on msm, I usually call it "Morrisons", going by the description applied to it on msm. So that's how the list has been working on this technicality. Glad to have cleared it all up:rotfl:.

On this occasion, Morrisons Beef in Gravy 210g and M Beef in Gravy 210g are, indeed, two totally different products.

My thoughts exactly! Which is why I'm still sitting downstairs with the laptop instead of being tucked up in bed right underneath the one metre nest :eek:
I can't even sleep downstairs, as I came downstairs when I couldn't sleep one night about 4 years ago, and saw a spider in the middle of the night - have been scared to fall asleep downstairs ever since :o:o

i did edit with a little advice :)

I've done a tiny bit of updating on the list, to correct my error and also to put a note on the Limes and Lemons as, sadly, I now think they're more likely to compare to M full price. The vast majority of the update from yesterday will get done later. (I seem to have a full update to do again:(:rotfl:.)

Good news maybe on the Evaporated Milk as it now seems to have been just most of my regular stores that had not changed prices - I have correct price (or what I believe to be) now on these other stores from Wednesday - so this should stand a better chance on the APG - or maybe just buy in Aldi if you don't want to risk with the APG.

EDIT: I note m.com showing 60p but that doesn't matter. I now have lots of stores showing 50p with expiry date sometime in October so I believe they are now that!

I'll just mention these as otherwise it will take me ages to get round to them and they'll all have disappeared as they're on RTC. Currently showing £1.08:eek: on the list:rotfl:.

Big Joe (frozen) Beef & Cheese Halal Panini 170g or Peri-Peri Chicken Halal Panini 160g or Pepperoni & Cheese Halal Panini 160g. Each 75p RTC in M. There may be others which I haven't come across.

You definitely won't find these in every M.

On the matter of Halal products, does anyone have the frozen Simply Halal products - Chicken Sausage, those ready meals etc. in their M? They were on £1.50 and supposed to be until 24th July. I lost them totally when the whole lot disappeared from Stoke and I've now lost them from Leicester:rotfl:. I don't know whether the offer finished or was extended as I don't have the products in any Ms now. I'm sure they are elsewhere - I bet Nottingham Gamston, Manchester Chorlton, Bolton main, one or both of the Ms in Walsall, stores like that. If anyone has them - there or anywhere else - my guide price is £1.50 for them to get onto the list - please let me know so I can put them back onto the list if they are still at £1.50. I just don't know. They're probably full price now, but I don't know. I was hoping to see them but unfortunately there was no trace of them now in the stores I visited on Wednesday.

But it's not all about items lost. Indeed, I've found those Big Joe products. There was another item that was on the list up to July, when I took a break, and has been missing for me for the last two weeks. Unfortunately it wasn't in my backstop store the other day when the other one, again, failed to have it. I've kept it on the list though as 'it won't have changed' and carried it over again this time, from store to store as an outstanding item I could do with seeing after so long, but didn't expect to see it at all. It turned up just now in a store many miles away from where I lost it several weeks ago:rotfl:. It is still in M at the offer price (actually buy in M as A and T don't have it - if you can find it at all in M:rotfl::rotfl:) - offer due until 7th August, but no need to mention which item or anything as it's already on the list and staying until next time now:cool:.

Still no John Smith's Golden Ale (500ml bottle) for me:( - I don't know where that product now is! And no Nestle Shreddies 1Kg anywhere for me now. Someone has these items in their M I am sure! Can you give me any help folks? TIA.

The Quorn Plain Fillets did compare at full price versus £1 each for M. Fwiw, as I suspect they really are full price in A now so you'd now end up paying £1.60 more. The crucial carrot made the comparison possible. Not too happy about paying full price on my bananas though, given that the comp. vs M dropped off, but never mind:rotfl:. (I suppose I can't complain about 'full price' in respect of a 1p carrot:rotfl::rotfl:.)

Many thanks again for tipping me off on this one - and thankfully I arrived back from my journey out just in time to see it:D:T:money:.

I'm off to bed now - see you later:wave:.

I see the T meal deal is on until the 23rd so as long as Morribobs keep their price low (savvy where are you?) I should be able to get a few deals.

I think I'm going to need a bigger fridge!

Anyone know of any nice fridges going cheap? (I was thinking of getting a new one anyway)

Out at M collecting prices:rotfl:. I'm back now though. I know nothing at all as I didn't see any of this before I went out:rotfl::rotfl:.
